Badass work!! i am the proud owner of my SECOND TL and now i will be doing a retrofit on my 2013 pearl white TL. soon as i receive the 2 MDX JEWELS (already ordered) i will begin work on my 4th gen. As far as my 3rd gen i will not be making them for mine due to the fact that i have worked extremely hard to customize my current headlights AND ALIGNMENT of them and i think my work speaks for itself.

With the second set of jewels i will make a 3rd or 4th Gen retrofit as soon as i get a willing donation of someones headlights and 500$ plus materials. Not trying to step on anyones toes. however I would like to do these for someone that loves TLs and appreciates the work done to them. PM ME IF INTERESTED...

BY THE WAY THIS IS MY FIRST SET OF CUSTOM HEADLIGHTS THAT I HAVE DONE... i understand the the jewel eye is alot more complicated however if someone else can do it i dont see why i cant as well....

what do you typically charge for this retrofit man ?

 

Got pics of some you finished already or are you planning on just using someone as your guinea pig

 

I've done a lot of headlight retrofit but I have not done the True Lies that will take a good amount of custom molding and cutting so yes it will be my first Jewel eye purchase fit particularly!

 

The jewel eye retrofit looks good. Someone did these already....I like them!

I'm sure people have wanted an update on these lights... These are the original jewel eyes seen earlier in this post. They were handed down to me from wojo and I have decided to restore them to their former glory. I have many pics and am documenting the restoration process. It will take time, but I hope to have them completed soon.

 

Anybody gotten leads on who churns TL -JEWEL conversions? I've googled, www.streetambitionz.com has stopped taking new jewel orders

Other than People/Shops on InstaGram, there is really no one else unless you DIY.

 

I've also looked at https://www.starrynighthalos.com/ and sent them email. Primarly looking to source a private guy who works on headlight projects.. when I find one, will let you all know

Well Starry don't do the jewel eye retrofits. The vids they have with their leds in the jewel eyes are all done by @wisedetailz.

On another note there is a guy local to me here in South FL who is currently working on mines. But I'm using TLX jewels instead of the popular MDX jewels.
