fucking millennials
I've been driving the TL the last few days... I've neglected the old girl. I have to force myself to drive the TL, as I always want to take the nismo instead.
Nismo is good. I was happy with how she performed out at the track, save for the tires. I'll buy some new ones once Bridgestone has their sale on again- though it might not be until the fall now. I was also impressed that I suffered no brake fade, especially since I was driving with old brake fluid. My friend ended up cooking his front brakes on his 4G TL that same day on the track... he had fresh fluid too and near the end of each 20 minute session, his brake fade was crazy. I've also never seen brakes smoking.
I just crossed the 12000km mark (7500mi) on the car, and she's been problem free thus far. Though, one thing that I can't stand is the Bluetooth. I think the stereo sounds really nice, but sometimes connecting my phone to Bluetooth is the biggest nightmare. The worst is when wifey connects her phone and then for whatever reason gets out of the car while it's still running.. the connection gets lost and reconnecting a phone ends up being a 45 minute ordeal. The system keeps glitching, etc.
To be honest, the Bluetooth is my only grievance with that car.

Maj, you need to be more careful.

that, and it has BBK front and back. 4 pot up front, 2 pot in the back. The aluminum calipers dissipate heat much better than the plain 4G steel calipers. I'm sure the 700 pounds extra the 4G carries around when braking definitely doesn't help those poor brakes either. It's a shame Acura didn't put brembos up front on those.

Well the thing is I've made new friends on new forums. People that are in the industry...in the know. People that have more money in wheels and tires than your car is worth. Pirelli will announce new tires very soon that will supplant the PSSs reign.
I seriously don't even know why I post anymore...let alone try to be helpful...when all you do is shit on it.
