The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (V)
You're neglecting the homophones (heh, homo phone):
Eric! Wood?
I, oh, ate thirty!
So, in conclusion, how much wood would Eric wudi eat if Eric wudi ate wood? Answer? How many polish sausages come in the box?
Second answer? Ask yer mum.

At least be consistent

I think that tropical storm came through a little bit ago. I seem to remember sort of half waking up in the early hours of the AM because of some strong winds and raining.
I bet all the people with a living room full of water and tinned beans feel a little silly right now. But on the other hand, I bet all the traffic signals are out (that happens whenever it rains) and there are a bunch of wrecked cars in ditches (also happens when rain).
First no big deal over reaction appears to be done!
we had one like 10 years ago that was traveling towards us, then changed direction at the last minute. I remember HWY6 (evac route) was jam packed for 10 hours! and the hurricane didnt even touch us! lol
people even ran out of fuel waiting in line to evacuate

But since you're just going to be a condescending a$$hole, here it is. Now shutupa yo mouth.
A More Hardcore Version of the Honda Civic Type R Is On Its Way
Running around the Nurburgring quicker than any front-wheel drive car before it, you can't accuse the Honda Civic Type R of being soft. And yet, Automotive News reports that a more hardcore version of the Civic Type R is already in the works. Honda is also considering building even more variants of the Type R to cater to different enthusiast needs.
Automotive News spoke with Hideki Matsumoto, the lead engineer of the Civic at the Type R's recent press launch. "We’re hoping that by gradually putting out more [variants] that we’ll be able to maintain a more stable sales volume [for the Type R]," he said.
The first Civic Type R variant will be a more hardcore version with more horsepower than the base model's 305. On the opposite end of the spectrum, a less hardcore Type R "focused more on the grand touring aspect," according to Matsumoto, is under consideration.
Interestingly, Automotive News also reports that an all-wheel drive version of the Type R is a possibility. Matsumoto said that he wanted the first Civic Type R in the US to be a reflection of previous models—light, powerful, and front-wheel drive—but apparently, he's leaving the door open for radical new versions.
Currently, Honda doesn't offer all-wheel drive on any Civic model, so it's unclear what sort of AWD system the Civic Type R would receive. Automotive News notes that most of the Type R's rivals—the Subaru WRX, Ford Focus RS, and Volkswagen Golf R—all offer all-wheel drive as standard.
The Civic Type R is already a very impressive car, so it'll be interesting to see what Honda will cook up next for it. An all-wheel drive Civic Type R is certainly an intriguing possibility.

I thought part of a forum is to discuss the car company it represents, its past, present and speculate on future, and not just be an a$$hole with nothing to contribute. But maybe that's just me.
But since you're just going to be a condescending a$$hole, here it is. Now shutupa yo mouth.

I'm not here to talk car crap.
I hadn't heard that about the Cyvyc Type R A(curazine)-Spec. And I don't believe it. It's a fun pipe dream (as in, you hittin' the pipe to think them thoughts up), but flies in the face of Acura's "barely better than Honda but it's luxury because we call for premium gas" sales model.
And yes, there is something else. Eat my ass.
Did you get it at PeiWei? The source for all things authentic asian?
Because, if you did, I can speak from experience (multiple, because dumbass) that you'll be in for a treat in a little bit.
And by treat I mean the cleaning crew at your building will hate what you do to the porcelain thinking room.

Anyways, if you like it, go to a nice sushi restaurant and try the chirashi.
WTF forum did you sign up for? Fuckin' HappyFunFriendZine? Club Penguin?

id say the company is slowly starting to turn around. They're relatively small, even with Honda, with limited resources, compared to many of their competitors. Signs are pointing to a resurgence of fun cars in the not to distant future. I guess time will tell. If they continue down their current path, I hope they do suffer a miserable death in the market.
And ill ill eat your ass, but only if you have syrup. I find jelly just doesn't stay in place as nicely. The fruit tends to stain the taint more than necessary also.
Poke is pretty delicious. Had it for the first time in Cali... Noticed there's a place in town here that just opened. I'm curious to see what it's like here. Probably made completely red neck and features well done steak instead of raw fish. "alberduh poke"

Then again, they also probably enjoy California rolls.
And J, as a rule, your chirashi should NOT have surf clam or ika (squid). An experienced sushi chef will not typically toss those into a chirashi bowl because of the texture-mismatch to what is traditionally a nice sampling of fish.
So, please do ask your server and if they have surf clam and ika...as much as you may like them...ask if the chef can sub them out for something else.
I guess my analogy is like saying you are tossing shrimp into spaghetti and meatballs. Just doesn't match.

You know what I don't care about. I'll just say it. Judge me all you want...
I like this "sushi roll" that's got cream cheese, jalapeno, and tuna or something, and the fucker is deep fried.
I know it's wrong. I know it's probably an affront to the whole country of Japan, but it's so goddamn delicious I don't care.
Exile and stone me. But send those rolls first.

Granted that article was pretty vague. The GT version can mean many things... Auto transmission, instead of the 6MT. Maybe less bolstered seats and softer suspension. Maybe an Acra variant. Who the fuck knows. I doubt it will be loaded up the wazoo with sport hybrid tech, AWD and dct... It'll be a 50k civic, from the factory then. I don't think there are enough AOMech's around to buy such a car.
ive been shitting on the brand for so long, I figured I'd start to give them the benefit of the doubt. The new accord sounds promising and the CTR is a nice change for the brand. It'll just take up another 5 years for Acra to catch up now

i threw squid in my poke bowl, and DID notice the crunchiness/mismatch of the other soft fish
