Need help please! Involves speed sensor.
So my car is a 2005 RL and it has a bad speed sensor. I thought I had found the right part and I loosened it but, but there were wires on the inside? And the worst part is I pulled them out when I pulled the piece out.
What did I pull out??
I also cannot get this piece back into the hole. Can anyone help me find a solution to fix this?
Also, where is the actual speed sensor if it is not here? I read that it was close to the battery which is why I thought I pulled the right thing. I was wrong.
Help please

I did rip it out. Lol.
It looks like I ripped out #10 which is the "solenoid harness".
It's a sensor that's connected to 4 solenoid that are supposedly housed in a little case on the transmission. This is a fix I can do Right?
There's literally nothing online other than the diagram above. Also, anyone know if we can removed the battery tray completely? It looks spot welded in some spots but I'm not sure it it's welded to the frame or if it's just bolted down in tough to reach spots.

So it does come off completely. Is it located on the bottom of the tray closest to the headlight or the steering wheel? And what kind of tools? It seems like 10mm if I recall. Probably gonna need an extension right?

Ouch... that's a tight spot to repair those wires. I did it on mine but it was out of the car.
What is happening with the car to make you believe the speed sensors are bad?

How do you take it out of the car?
And it's the speed sensor because it locks the tranny, the D is flashing, the Speedo doesn't work, and every other light gets tripped too.
