Yesterday, I added a Ported Throttle Body to the Stingray. All I can say is WOW!!! The Corvette now feel like it's Turbocharged. At 2,500 RPM's the car leaps forward. Plus, throttle response at the accelerator is incredible.
If I'm adding up horsepower, I'm at about 520 hp. It came from the factory at 460 hp.

Thought of you when I flew into MCI a few weeks ago. Is there a local 1/4 mile track for you out there? Ever think about taking her down the strip?
Really?
I've been considering getting the Mamo ported one for the wagon, but ended up pulling the plug on all mods during the last few months.
Buddy, it's good to hear from you-where have you been???? I looked at the Tony Mamo unit but chose one from WeaponX Motorsports. I know the owner of WeaponX, Ben Herndon and chose them because of our history together. Ben puts out a terrific product. I went with a known entity.

Brother, thank you very much! There is a local oval at the Kansas Speedway and a local 1/4 mile that is one hour away in Topeka. It's called Heartland Park.
Thanks Steven...
been a rough couple of months...just coming out of the dust now.
Glad you're well and modding!
I will look into WeaponX when the time is right...
I've been told it'll bump the throttle response up...that's probably my only real gripe is how hard you have to hit that peddle to get it to react.

My Stingray won it's first hardware (after 3 years)!!! I'm also the President of the Corvette Club of Kansas City. We have our big annual meet yesterday, (Sunday, June 4th).
She won "Best Modified Interior Mod" for all the Carbon Fiber.
The President of the club won an award........something seems a little fishy here
Congrats!
I know, I know....actually, it was my idea to have Modified Categories. This year, I added Best Interior, Best Exterior, Best Engine Bay, Best Paint, Best Presentation Mods. Before this, the entire judging was "Show & Shine".

Thanks brother! And thanks to all of you for the "congrats". Since the Modified Category judging was new this year, we had 25 cars out of 100+ Corvettes enter the Modified Category judging. Since I was working (slaving over a hot microphone all day long), I never saw the judging process.
Here is a picture of my buddy's car who traveled from Lawton, Oklahoma to Kansas City to be in the show. His car won 5 awards!!!! One of the trophies he won was Best in Show.
Here are pictures of our two cars together. His car is named "Tribute". It's in honor of the first Grand Sport from 1963. His is a 2017 Grand Sport in Admiral Blue with Velocity Yellow accents.
