Has anyone done the factory rear lip only? Does it flow well without the rest of the car even if the side skirts and front lip are not installed or does it look out of place? Photos or links appreciated

 

I'm sure it would look good from behind.... but I doubt anyone has done this

 

It may look odd since it won't line up with the sideskirts when looking at the car from the sides. I have just the front on right now and you can't tell the difference due to the mudguards. With the rear only, you'll have to remove the mudguards and will probably leave the front ones on.

 

some would argue that's the only angle our cars look good with anyway.....

if anyone has the rear lip only with shots from the side it would be greatly appreciated!

it looks great from the rear. I know it's been done on the 3G TL, but has any 4G'er ever molded the body kit to the bumper?
it would look GREAT and would get rid of the unslightly "tacked on" look

I agree with the both of these..

 

My 2012 TL Elite has just the decklid spoiler. My 2010 TL also came with the decklid spoiler but I put the factory underbody kit on it. I'm also going to remove the side skirts off the 2010 (since it was declared a total loss) and put them on my 2012 TL since they fit 2009 - 2014.

So, it doesn't look odd in my opinion as our last 2 TL's came with just the factory installed decklid spoiler. I think a TL without the decklid spoiler looks out of place and just plain. I will take a picture and post it of the 2012.
