I am looking for high flow precats, new or used. I live in California and I need to pass visual inspection for smog. Anything online won't sell to California, for what I'm looking for anyway. I have the J32A3 engine. I want something that is higher flowing but look stock or that I can put the heat shields on them. Any input is much appreciated, thanks in advance.
I did all that research before I started this. Read this picture, they won't deliver to California! I tried also to order them and they won't let you. The only ones that will ship here are "off road use only " which looks cool but again I need them to LOOK STOCK. I wanted to buy the pacesetter ones I found but they won't deliver here. I'll buy used ones if they're in good condition.
I wish I could buy the off road use only ones, they look cool. The stupid smog guy failed me for having a throttle spacer! I mean really! That's it! And he charged me $50 when he could have told me that before he even started. Trust me I'm going to go to a different smog place from now on. I just put on the 3.7L intake and throttle body combo but all that looks totally stock. Now I'm looking for any options for a higher flowing cats without it being a crazy hassle every two years. I'm hoping someone has some used HFPC that look oem. I've even thought about driving to summit racing in Reno to buy the pacesetter ones I was talking about, as I tried to order them and they won't deliver here. Ugh, but I digress.
