Google Search 37820-PX9-A17 and guess what ECU this is.
Google Search Hondaparts K4F6 and guess what type of transmission this is.

Sure will. At first i was nervous because i was missing a clutch fork. i went to my local Acura part and service and they told me it was discontinued. i was able to buy one off a guy on acuralegend.org. give me a few to get the 3.5 back together and to take out the 3.2. We got to see where we got to cut and if we have to rearrange anything under the hood or against the fire wall.

Acura Legend Pedals and Stick Shift

------------------------------------

Yep... I own two Acura Legend 6 speed Transmissions, 2 differentials, 2 stick shifts, and pedals to go with them... geez... powdercoating next... May need to order Mugen Pedals to jazz them up a little in the end of this build.

Interior Out and Test Fit

------------------------

Good bye Automatic stuff...

------------------------
Rust... You westcoast boys gotta hate the sea.

------------------------

Got the pedals looking good. Hopefully, rust resistant.

------------------------

Gas and brake pedals fit well!!!! Simple modification to get it to fit.
Clutch Pedal is goin' to require some tough modification/fabrication. Damn, was hoping to keep Cruise Control.

Hey Go90go, we are debating on simply how to cut the fire wall... where the hood cable goes through the hole is flat on the legends. The Legend boys can just drill a hole to place their Master clutch cylinder. TLs are really not flat at all and plus, you are right... the space.

Coming from a cammed, 6 speed Legend Coupe, I'll say the thing you'll love the most from all of that work is the sound.. To me, it sounded like a really pissed off Chewbacca lol

May have to rethink a few things

Ok... I may have to rethink the intake manifold, VIS system, and throttle body combination...

May go back to the aluminum welder and not use the block intake manifold and not use the RL's VIS system. I may use the Type II VIS system. This one does not have one.

Modified widen RL intake manifold (Left) and Legend Type II manifold (Right). Going to modify widen the Legend Type II to the measurements of the modified widen RL... without the block rectangle look.

++++++

top view of the two... for those who don't know. the Legend and RL will fit on the 1st Gen TL heads.

+++++++

My manifold needs to be widen due to my block in my TL is a 3.5RL and the heads are from a larger Legend type II. Will take a couple of weeks for the aluminum welder to
finish.

Choosing the RL's lower intake manifold section over the Type II's

The RL is on the Left (anatomical right) and the Legend Type II is on the Right (anatomical left). Basically the one with the pipe is the RL.

I read this forum http://forums.acuralegend.org/type-i...ghlight=intake and it helped me chose the RL's lower intake manifold section over the Type II's lower intake manifold section. I guess the VIS is the same on both. Well, back to cleaning and polishing the RL's.

Aluminum Polish

i got a little bored waiting for days over the weekend for parts to be finish at the machine shop and welders. So, I decide to practice aluminum polishing with the thermostat housing. Just got different grits of sandpaper and got down on it while watching a little Netflix. Too bad the majority of it will be covered. But, I may get the Dremel and continue until I see my complete reflection.

Time to pick a FUEL RAIL

So, I decided to use the RL's fuel rails over the TL/Legend fuel rails. 1. The RL's fuel rails looks more aesthetically nicer and 2. I believe Honda updated the RL's fuel rails to flow better.

1st Gen Acura 3.5RL's Fuel Rails
2nd Gen Acura Legend / 1st Gen Acura 3.2TL fuel rails.

Close up of the Acura 3.5RL fuel rails
Left side aluminum polished (My hand labor)
Right side untouched with screws left in it (From the salvage yard)

Arrow Throw Back from 5-13-13 (Genesis)

Well... I noticed that I haven't shown any pic of the beginning of my build on this tread. This is due to when I started my build, I started by piggybacking on another tread on acurazine.com... HERE https://acurazine.com/forums/first-g...ped-tl-801364/

So, here goes some pics of the beginning of my build.

I found a 2000 3.5RL
I found a 1994 Legend
and boy... was it a big clean up and rebuild project. Slug Slug and more Slug

2000 Acura 3.5RL at Pick-N-Pull...
Dropped it, Dragged it, and stole the Block. 3/13/13

C35A1... Took it apart... Damn... it was ridiculous!!!! 5/15/13

Scrubbed, Tanked, New sleeves, and New bearings.

Test fit assemble and OBX test fit. 5/23/13

Before the TYPE II Heads...
