I'd be interested to know what other folks here on the forums appreciate, value, lust after, etc. Hence the "fantasy stable" game.
Pick one vehicle per category, plus a fifth that can be any vehicle (including bikes) that you want. Feel free to add comments explaining your choices (or not).
1. Daily Driver
2. Track Toy
3. Truck/SUV
4. GT (grand touring) car (highway cruiser)
5. open category
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll get the ball rolling, with my most sensible and reasonable choices, any one of which I might actually be able to obtain on my salary!
1. 2008-2013 BMW 128i--naturally aspirated straight six, well-balanced chassis (50-50 weight distribution), RWD, with decent back seats (for small adults) that can fold down for utility's sake
2. 2005 Lotus Elise--self-explanatory, I think. Close runner-up is the Alfa Romeo 4C, but have my doubts about its reliability. Plus it's way outta my reality in financial terms.
3. 2017-18 Honda Ridgline--because I'm not really a "truck guy," but appreciate the classic lines and functionality of this vehicle along with its (presumable) reliability. Thought of saying Ford Raptor, but that's just the 12-year-old kid in me!
4. Cadillac Elmiraj--don't know much about this vehicle, but am simply smitten with its lines.
5. 2001 Audi S4 Avant--totally unreliable POWER. nom, nom, nom.
1 Daily Driver is a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (latest model)
2 Track toy is also a lotus elise
3 SUV/truck is the Range Rover Sport Supercharged (latest model)
4 Roadster or GT would be the Lexus LS
5 Extra would be a Mercedes G-wagon for offroading
This is of course all fantasy lmao (for now I hope).
How realistic should it be? Like within the realm of possibility or something that requires lottery/gambling/drugs to attain?
Take it in whatever direction you like. I just went with more "realistic" choices because truly "fantasizing" isn't as interesting to me personally. But that's just me; doesn't have to be everyone, and obviously, you are already livin' the dream with your current garage! So, feel free to go even BIGGER.
BTW, I mistakenly left "Cadillac Elmiraj," which is a concept car, on my list. That should be 2001-2003 Jaguar XJR (X308). Whoops.
1. Daily Driver - E39 M5
2. Track Toy - Ferrari F430 MT
3. Truck/SUV - Land Rover Range Rover supercharged
4. GT (grand touring) car (highway cruiser) - Porsche Panamera Turbo
5. open category - Tesla Model S
1. Daily Driver: Mercedes E63 AMG-S Wagon
2. Track Toy: NSX
3. Truck/SUV: Cayenne GTS Turbo
4. GT (grand touring) car (highway cruiser): Lexus LS F Sport or if i was able to get better range Tesla P100d
5. open category: I with Sam on this one... Agera R hands down...
I'll lean towards the realistic side of the spectrum...
1. Daily Driver - Mercedes GLC AMG
2. Track Toy - Lotus Elise, Arial Atom, or Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series
3. Truck/SUV - Well, I have an FJ Cruiser and a Tundra, so I'd keep those
4. GT - Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon
5. Open Category - Audi R8
1. Daily Driver - F10 M5
2. Track Toy - Lotus Elise
3. Truck/SUV - New-ish Tacoma TRD 4x4 or 4Runner TRD
4. GT (grand touring) car (highway cruiser) - S63 AMG Coupe
5. Open Category - Audi B5 RS4 Avant
Love this list, mostly because it seems like a more "upscale" (expensive) version of mine (which is full of 10+ year old cars that are now within my financial reach)....
I'd have to agree with wackjum on the Range Rovers.... I'd rather have an old (analog) Land Rover (Defender)....
Daily driver: Vespa 200 rally, I know you said only bikes in the last category, but it rarely rains here and I will have like 4 other cars.
Track toy: Lotus Elan
Truck SUV: I would like to cop out and say xterra, but it's going to have to tow all this italian, english, and german shit when in breaks. So... Late mid 90's f-250 with a manual.
GT car: E38 from the transporter (the actual stunt car. Short wheel base, v12, and a manual).
Open Catagory: Mercedes G wagon done up like the one I saw in a rally in Mexico.
Track - Cartu did it right, Ferrari TDF F12 notably the most aggressive killing machine. Chris Harris shit his pants driving this.
Suv - Xc90 polestar r design
Wildcar - Ferrari 355 F1 GTS targa in blue on tan (something about this car...its top on my list for obtainable weekend car)
1. Daily Driver - BMW [F22] 228i xDrive, M-sport (see profile picture) 2. Track Toy -Porsche [991] GT3RS (probably Ultraviolet) 3. Truck/SUV -I'm not a truck/SUV guy, but I'd definitely drive a custom vintage pickup 4. GT (grand touring) car -Porsche 356, had to go vintage again with this one 5. open category - Porsche [981] Cayman GT4, for at least one mid-engine, 6-speed car
So for fun I took a more realistic approach....kinda. Each car in my fantasy stable is well over $100k each so I thought I would build a 5 car stable for a total of $100k
I like that idea... limiting yourself to $100k total. My pseudo-realistic fantasy stable was limited to roughly $100k per car, if you don't count the McLaren.

1. Daily Driver - Mercedes GLC AMG
2. Track Toy - Lotus Elise, Arial Atom, or Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series
3. Truck/SUV - Well, I have an FJ Cruiser and a Tundra, so I'd keep those
4. GT - Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon
5. Open Category - Audi R8
Guess I should add pics...
1. Daily Driver - Switched this to a Cayenne GTS. Need a Porsche in my life again
2. Track Toy - If I had to choose one I'd probably go CLK63 BS
3. Truck/SUV - I've posted pics of my trucks before including my wife's Jeep
4. GT - E63 AMG Wagon. While I love our E63 AMG sedan, I'd get the wagon for the ultimate touring car...
5. Open - Audi R8. Always been one of my faves since day 1...
Realistic choices since I don't even know how the cars drive with my unrealistic choices.
1. Daily Driver - X5M - because it is fast and comfortable
2. Track Toy - S2000
3. Truck/SUV - Some kind of lifted Diesel 4X4 that will tow my S2000 to the track
4. GT (grand touring) car (highway cruiser) - S65
5. open category - ATV, Dont know much about it but i know i want 1.

Damn I forgot I was supposed to include the realistic ones. S65 is not. Fixed.
