Is it possible to replace the smaller driver 2 key fob with a larger one (like the driver 1 fob with remote start) so both key fobs have remote start? I have a 2016 RDX AWD Advance.

Most likely not. Feel free to inquire with the Acura dealer but my guess is no.

 

I think you should inquire with your dealership. Both of my key fobs came with remote start.

 

Canada gets two remote fobs. You can buy another fob and have it programmed but it will just be another #1.

 

We bought our 2017 a week ago. Before we finalized the deal we complained about the lack of remote start on the second fob. They got a replacement second fob with remote start for us. They said it cost $700+, but gave it to us for about $265. We ended up with 2 full, identical capability fobs, labeled #1 and #2, and a non-remote start #2, w/o the metallic key. Not ideal, but works for me.

 

I bought in Bakersfield, Ca. I now have a fob labeled #1 with full remote start #1 capability, a fob labeled #2 with full remote start #2 capability, and a fob labeled #2 with #2 capability (i.e., no remote start) but w/o the metallic key, only RF.
