The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (V)
I must've been living under a rock. I just saw a commercial for a Power Rangers movie, yesterday. I didn't know the Rangers were still a thing.
back when they first showed up on our shores, I remember the show being all the rage at my school. I was between moving homes and my parents were being cheap so no cable tv at that time. I felt like I was missing out on so much cool. Until we got cable. And I watched an episode. And was confused as to why anyone thought that show was awesome.
I didnt know that shit is still around

Well... The robot part of the show was the only cool thing. As a like 8 or 9 or 10 year old child, I thought the acting was brutal and the screenwriting was even worse. It's bad when the target audience is saying WTF.
though I remember something about two kids being beat to death because of that show. Some kids were playing "power rangers" and end up beating the shit out of someone else. I remember after that, at the end of the show, they would do like Public Relations clips saying not to take anything on the show seriously, and that they're all just actors and friends in real life.

I thought it was the oddest thing when I first moved to the desert. Tried it at the most white bread of restaurants, Village Inn, and saw the face of Jesus.
Not like, son of God Jesus, but like Hey-Zeus Jesus. He brought it out to the table along with a stack of pancakes and some crepes.
All-you-can-eat menudo at Village Inn was what got me though to Monday in college.

One of my homeboys was so cheap that he'd tag along and just eat other people's toast for breakfast.
But we all did things to get by. So I ain't mad at him.
C-Dog.
