But seriously, man is that thing hideous. There is no reason to ever put one of those on. If your steering wheel is that trashed, I'm sure you can find a used good condition wheel in about 47 seconds of searching.
I mean, seriously, who puts a fake acura wheel wrap on? They should've stuck to the wicked Tasmanian devil one, like I have
I'll admit that the 5 or so minutes I've spent this morning looking at steering wheel covers is entirely wasted and worthless; but in actuality I did come across this gem:
So now I'm on the search for the same, but in blue or gray to match my car.
im just griping that he made us do his homework..
like an extra finger tap and he could have found the info he was looking for
google makes it so easy.
I remember the days of altavista
Plus, adding the short disclaimer initially of: "this is now discontinued, but does anyone know..." makes a big difference over: "Here am pikture. where am me can get! Me liking."
I put Acra decals on my brake calipers. True story.
I was hesitant about the RDX caliper covers on the rear, but, they ended up coming out really nicely. I painted them copper, along with the rear calipers.
The only thing I'd do different next time is buy brand new rear calipers (and mounting brackets) and paint them. I initially was going to sand them by hand, like I did the brembos... except the brembos don't ever rust, so they were easy peasy. The rear calipers and mounting brackets were heavily corroded. I ended up taking the die grinder to them to remove the rust. The metal was pretty pitted all over, and even with the grinder, I can only get them to look so good again. They look nice for 11 year old calipers, but my OCD is telling me I could do better... looking up caliper prices now...
I've been grinding. Last weekend was basically recovering from travelling earlier in the week, coming home to a sick kiddo, and then trying to rock through a homework assignment due today. And then stupid work wants things to be done too. WTF?!?
Funny, I got WagonJr shouting out "get to da choppa" whenever we're loading up the truck to go somewhere. Makes me laugh each time.
