Hi everyone,
I'm about to make my big order for wheels and suspension and I would really like someone's help. It's taken me awhile to save the money for this and I really don't want to make a mistake! I've tried to ask b4 but no reply. My cart currently has in it:
Progress rear sway bar
Tein Street Advance coil overs
MRR wheels/tires
My question is mainly more on the rims/tires. I want to make sure the car can still perform correctly/sporty/comfortable. I've ran a wheel test online and here are the results for the exact wheel specs I would like to get. Any advice or things anyone notices that I should adjust/change/watch out for? Any mistakes I'm making here? Im especially asking about that scrub radius and clearance.
Left side is stock (what I have now) and right side is what I want. Also, not sure if the tire size is good or not. Thanks in advance.

anyway you slice it, the 20's are going to be a bit heavier..which in turn affects performance/mobility.
with that being said, the specs you chose look great!!! I dont foresee them to rub, especially since you will have a set of coilovers that you can adjust to fit the wheels.

What kind of Mrr wheels do you plan on getting? Would help more if you would've added the specs.
You mentioned on getting the Teins and so it's obvious that you plan on dropping it. From your choice of tire specs 245/40/20 you won't have any issues but your tires is gonna look super beefy. Slight chance that your rear tabs inside the rear wheel well will rub. First suggestion is to go with 245/35/20 since it's close to stock 19 specs. My other option is if your just budgeting go with H&R Springs that will lower it an inch get some 19x8.5s et35-40 with some 245/40/19 and call it a day. You wont have to roll fenders and more than likely you wont have to purchase camber kits with that setup. Get alignment afterwards.
Few members had that setup and they were quite happy with it but they stepped up and went with the Tein's.
We have vendors here who's more than willing to assist you in that field such as HeelToe, Excelerate, Endless. Good luck

And the offset would be +45, as I just heard back from them, they custom drill the wheels on order, so I just need to decide which diameter. I do want to go with the coilovers. The rest of the wheel specs are standard to TL specs (hubs, bolt pattern)
As far as tires what about:
255/35/20 for the 20s
Or
245/40/19 for the 19s.
It's just when I look at the scrub radius, it seems these are the best, least changed specs on scrub compared to stock. When I change the tires for the 20s to 245, it add +7 more scrub which isn't good. The above tired combo puts the scrub at +8 or 0.315inches. Which if I'm not mistaken, is barely acceptable in terms of not compromising drive quality. Thoughts? And thanks again soalman

Ohh this is great thanks man! OK so the MRR wheels come in these specs: 19x8.519x9.520x920x10.5

Just gotta search for your answers here. There's plenty of threads that relates to your questions. 255 on 20s should be fine but I'm assuming your not going to go to aggressive on your setup. Me personally if you want performance and ride quality your best bet is to stay with the 19s and get some good UHP (ultra high performance) all season tires.

if you want to be conservative.. i ran 20x9.5 +35 with 245/35 all around and i had no issues and it was a meaty set up too..
i would skip the progress rsb and go with a rear camber kit.

If I go to a 1.5drop, will I still need the camber kit? I want to avoid fender rolling if possible. Thanks again in advance

Hey potmilkz that's good advice. After running the online tests, I came up with the best scenario on wheels so far which is 265/40/19 - 19x9.5 with a +45offset. According to the test, the rims shouldn't change the OEM specs too far and the scrub will remain within acceptable limits.
If I go to a 1.5drop, will I still need the camber kit? I want to avoid fender rolling if possible. Thanks again in advance

Once you install your coilovers or springs and once it settles in I would suggest you take it to an alignment shop and that's when you'll find out for sure that you'll need to get a camber kit or not. Potz suggested that you get the rear camber kit and minus the rsb and that's a great suggestion as well.
