Good! Just a bit more stuff to do as the glass for a portion of the stairs needs to be replaced as it was implemented with some scratches. The barn doors to the piano room need to be serviced too as one of the wheels is making too much noise. Small things...really.
Anyways, just settling in. I'll post some pics when I'm ready, I guess. Still also waiting on some furniture too. I've posted some elements of the place in the Diecast Models thread in Ramblings.
I was gonna build some barn doors in our current place, but we don't have enough room! Super easy to do though and especially if you like that beat up rustic look... pinterest can be a man's best friend afterall!!
Speaking of which... my brother and I were making beer glasses... out of beer bottles yesterday. Wrap some yarn around whatever glass bottle you want. Soak it in lighter fluid and ignite. Let it burn for 30 seconds and then drop in cold water. The glass fractures right where the yarn was. Then lightly sand the edges and it's all good!
And no, the beer bottle glasses are not for daily use. I might be white trash, but I'm not that white trash. More so if we have a BBQ or backyard party.
