Type S Tire size to protect rims

hi, what tire size would you guys recommend i should get to give my rims a little protection from side walks etc. been hitting a lot of curb and damaging the rims. thanks

Best recommendation is to stop hitting the curbs! Or make some curb feelers!

concrete is harder than rubber.
now add speed to that mix....
no amount of tire overhang will prevent curbed wheels.

stop hitting the gawyam curbs.....

I agree with everything said above. Truth hurts. Get the 255's and be careful.

it's a new to you car!
like any New-to-you cars....it takes a while to get used too.
I sure did curb my wheels when I first bought the car... and I had on the 255/40/17s..

stay as far away from sidewalks as possible
