I was eyeing the quilted seat covers but don't know how involved of a job they are and I don't want to have too thick of a seat cover to where my heated seat is weaker since it has more material to go through. lol

The leather seats my lovely wife ordered me for Christmas came. Can't wait to install these in the next few weeks. My Wife and I got invited to the UFC gym Christmas party. I guess that means we cool people.

They have different packages, material or you can build it your own way. I wanted the full 100% leather package. You can add whatever you want. The overall cost including shipping was $1200. When my brother had the Maxima, we used this company to change out from Cloth to Leather. I was completely impressed and never once had an issue 5 years later before It was sold. This kit is build very well. Acura charges about $450-500 each section of the seat. It's about $1,000 for new covers on one seat.. $1,200 for the entire interior, is a great deal.
The package my wife bought:
-Full 100% leather kit / OEM style
-Two tone seats (moonlake gray inside, black outside)
-Perforated body (What the TL seats are)
-Double contrast stitching (Dove gray)
-Center armrest, head rest, door arm rest included
-Shifter boot was extra cost.

Just buy patch leather scraps on ebay, make your own seat covers and use the original covers as a template..
Learn to upholster leather.. Boom.. busta ass mismatch leather seat covers.. fifffteee bucks.
Yeah, I always thought Acura was out of their minds for fake leather covers at $450 a lower section.. In fact, I just checked again FRONT SEAT (L.) for 2004 Acura TL SEDAN Just the bottom piece is $437.29 and the top piece is $623.27. Factor in tax and shipping and that's just for ONE seat. At the cost for one seat, you get the entire interior done.
Way better, because:
1. Available for 29.99 (on sale, no for $20.00!!). I can buy dozens of these for $1,200.
2. Cool custom graphic, as opposed to boring OEM.
3. One piece instead of two pieces (one piece is always better)
4. Perfect colours to go with your TL interior.
5. Excellent return policy.
6. Much easier to install.
LOL! I hear you. Just as I said to Maj, it's still the best option (bang for buck) to getting the seats replaced. You could get a cheaper set from leatherseats.com, just won't be full leather. A upholstery shop will charge double, if not more than what my wife paid for these.
No, no... If my seats were in rough shape, I would totally go that route. No point buying an inferior product for 500 bucks and have it look terrible in a couple years... Unless I was looking to ditch the car. But then I likely wouldn't be fixing it anyway. And yeah. I've seen the prices for the OEM covers. They are super expensive. I wouldn't even bother.
I was was totally joking about the $20 seat covers. I would never let one of my cars suffer such embarrassing agony. I'd feel compelled to burn it to the ground right after, if I installed them.
