Its all good man, I was just asking if it was manual or not. Like I said the 3.2 cts has like 35hp less plus is 5spd. They are very different cars. As for the guy that tried to get in front of me theres no way to tell what car he had. I wasnt about to let him get in front of me to get a better look .

A friend of mine had a 2009 CTS with the 3.6 DI and it was pretty slow to be honest. He took it to the track and ran low 15's @ low 90's. Granted, it was the AWD version and obviously 304 bhp just doesn't move 4100lbs with much authority, but I'd still put my money on a well driven stock Type-S 6MT against a stock RWD CTS, regardless of the transmission in the CTS.

Dont forget the DI have the nasty problem with carbon buildup, I have catch can that help to collect all the dirt , so it keep my valve clean . I ran 14.24 95mph + I have staggered tire with brigestone potenza re760 285s in the back. I going to add soon the intake spacer with ported throttle body+ intake .

You could be a bit faster with better tires. Those 760s aren't all that great.

If I had the Cts-v I would choose something like the michelin pss , but I have the AWD and only 304hp so for the tread life and value the re760 is not bad at all.

So yours is AWD? That would explain your numbers. 14.2 is quick for a 95 mph trap. A stock Type-S 6MT won't do much better than that, maybe 14.0-14.1 with a great launch, but at 100-101. Maybe the CTS my friend owned had the carbon build up?
