J, I have very close friends who were out of work for over 2 years in 2008
They are very qualified and educated,applied to at least one job / day, which was even a requirement to get benefits
Begging for a handout to stay afloat, begging for the president to sign an extension and congress to approve
Maybe Obama was the light to keep them afloat, but it's just a setup because nothing changed that would prevent another bubble..
The next candidate will be the one signing that extension (or not), it's an unknown bet and it may make a difference, or not..

Anyways, two of my friends lived with me for a few months before bouncing around between relatives trying to make something happen in other cities.
