The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (V)
dude, the job hunt is not going good, this is a dead province. I dont know what to do I'm really broke lol, I've never been this poor.... Im thinking I'm going to go back to school and take power engineering and just get a random job while I wait for september to come back around for school... But if something in my chemical field pops up during that time frame then Id likely jump on that. Although I think it would be great for me to have a chemical tech course along with power engineering too
The car is stored, I miss it
The gf is good, just working away, I can tell she's kinda getting fed up with me not working as I'm always just kind of home kicking around with nothing to really do except look online at the same god damn empty job boards lol
And your IG is private J, I dont know if you go on or if you caught that I called you by that name in the earlier post

What's your IG? Is it coxsuxer69canuck?
I get so many random requests...I ignore most...
although I don't IG very often and rarely anything car related.
PS...don't piss the GF off...she's way too hot to be waiting around for a guy to get ambitious about life.
If it requires a move, do it...she might be down. If she's not...there are other headlights out there.
Have you considered waiting tables and/or serving booze? Easy to get hired, lucrative in it's own right...
Just ideas, man...but get up off the couch and stop smoking your days away. You'll wake up with morning wood that is too malleable and a sad song and dance about old loves that could have been.

Which is sort of funny, because around 9:00 tomorrow night is probably when I'm going to start pickling my liver for the next 4 years. Tonight is shaping up to be my last sober night for quite a while.

I knew Joe wouldn't let me down.
Ejaculate together!

Dude, strong bass line!
Did you see that Temple of the Dog is doing 7 shows?
I wish I was in NY tonight.
Only recently have I started to really appreciate Soundgarden. I should probably give Temple of the Dog another go too.
I did that 3 years ago... I had broken my hand and used the dremel because I couldn't grip the little pumpkin saws. I need to see if I can track down a picture; I know I have one somewhere but I can't find it right now.
FJ, the JK Figlet was a great beer. It was super funky and sour, great drinker. I drank the whole bottle, quick.. owner treated me.
It would be super good as a pairing brew.. but I enjoyed it right out of the bottle.
I'd say it's top 5 JK brews in my book. Definitely opposite of the soulless (N)BBC Schwartz..

Anyone know if I can buy tomorrow? Tejas specifically?
no worries jeffuccboi..
you can always suck dick for cash
plus, you don't need a girl hanging you down
you need a dude, to shove his hang down in your mouth
To the new year, a new career, and chugging loads of New Brunswick's best!

I hadn't heard that. Temple of the Dog were just outside my circle of appreciation back in the day. Soundgarden was right there with them. For some reason, Soundgarden annoyed me at the time. I think because of the popularity of Black Hole Sun.

well, ironically, Temple was made up of Soundgarden along with Eddie Vedder...never toured, only released one album I believe...
guaranteed you've heard Hunger Strike
RHCP are coming in April...I might go see them again. My Dad actually turned me onto them AND FNM back in 1990!
Oh, right... That didn't come across well in text... I know/knew Temple was a Soundgarden/Mother Love Bone (
)/Pearl Jam supergroup. It's just that all of those bands were not really what I was into.
< Pretentious music hipster mode: ON > its hard to really explain it but they all seemed so "rock lite" at the time. On the rock music front, I was more into the metal and hard rock. Those grunge bands seemed so "songs about feelings" and not "songs about face punching and death". Although, I liked Nirvana, which was about as poster boy mainstream as a band could get then.

I dunno how to say it right. I probably need a Venn diagram to figure it out myself... Ah, how about this: bands like Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, TotD, Alice in Chains, etc were on my radar but not in my CD (or tape
) collection.
However, now I think I appreciate more what they were doing. They've aged well, like fine wine, or Helen Mirren

That makes sense, Joe...
I love feelings so I get it.
Although I loved stuff like Metallica too...I never got into anything harder like Sevendust or Insane Clown Pussy.
