Power Steering EPS Problem

Hi

I have a 2014 RLX with 80k miles and my car has the following issues:

1- power steering system (eps) problem message in instrument cluster.
2 - steering wheel almost impossible to turn.
3- precision all wheel steer: u3000-49 message in the infotainment screen.

Anyone have have any ideas on what the culprit is? Am I looking at a new rack and eps module, or one of each? Are there steps to diagnose the issue without a dealer? If just eps module needs to be replaced, there where is it located and how do you access it on this car?

This is what i could find, but most of the diagnostics need to be done using the HDS device.

I replied to your PM, but you cant accept any since you are a new user.

I am sorry, but i am not a mechanic. I would not know what to tell you, or how to fix this this.

Best would be to stop by your dealer, especially for a steering issue.

Update: car has been towed to the dealership. I called Audi client support as well since this is only a 2 year old car and should not be having these issues considering this is a premium brand. THey have opened a case and will review post diagnosis. I am optimistic that they will be standing by their product. I will update this once I know more.

SIRI needs hearing aides. Cortana and Google got it right! At least Audi uses Google on-board.
