Cleaning the bay 'n headlights

So I just recently bought the car and was over at a buddies house showing off the v6. When I pop the hood I really saw how dirty the bay was. Just like whoa, so I took some good ol soap n water to it.
Then I got carried away n decided to clean up the headlights for a short term solution. They came out OK..

Before the tootepaste

After the toothpaste n elbow grease

After apply some wax

Right side

The cleaning supplies.
Toothpaste
Lens compound I had laying around
New wax I been trying out
