OEM Trunk spoiler pics requested

Would any of y'all post up a couple of close up pixs of a well fitting spoiler for me?
I'm particularly interested to see how far forward it is positioned and just where exactly it interfaces with the lid along the backside.
TIA

A search will link you to many of those pics - early adopters were not happing with the fitment, including myself.

helped my friend install his trunk spoiler on his 2016 tlx. used the templates and the gap spacing in terms of position on the trunk is perfect. however, the very edges do seem to pop very slightly up, maybe like 1-2mm bigger gap than the rest of the spoiler. seems as if the factory tape isn't strong enough for long term holds. The spoiler was purchased in May 2016 so I think it's from the "updated" batch

I don't have pics but my 2015 spoiler was installed at the dealer with adhesive tape that didn't keep the spoiler on. In addition, it was white and my car+spoiler are black, so you could see a tiny line of tape in the gap. I was (unfortunately) rear ended and the collision repair company used a stronger adhesive and got the spoiler on there just right without any artifacts.

Edit: If you need me to add photos of my car, I can try to do that later today.

Thanks guys. While I have bee able to see a few pix of the spoiler, most are from afar and don't really show exactly how it is positioned fore/aft. ie just how much does it hang over the back of the radius of the back of the trunk lid??
My car is still at the dealer as they are trying to figure a way to get the ends to stick down, for the third time...

The dealer can get the spoiler to stick down by doing the following.

1. Warm up or heat up the spoiler so it's more flexible by placing it in the sun first for an hour or two.

2. Place dabs of Poly Urethane structural adhesive near the corners to permanently hold down the spoiler to the deck lid.

The double sided tape will hold the spoiler in place until the adhesive sets. Once it sets the adhesive will hold down the tape and the spoiler pernimently until you cut the adhesive.

01acls thank you for a viable suggestion... but YIKES!!
Polyurethane adhesive might do the trick indeed, but wow what a headache if it ever needed to be removed....

Not really because we're talking about very small amouts. Only 3 dabs around dime to a nickel size. Just use a putty knife to cut the adhesive. Just as you would have to do to old double side tape thats bitten into the paint.

You really wouldn't have to remove the spoiler unless you were repairing the body or paint so it's ok to use adhesive. You just got to make sure the spoiler is setting just the way you want it before the adhesive sets. Which is usually over night.
