With very few exceptions, your first job is not usually the one you retire from. So get in there, be eager, get some experience, and then don't be afraid to look for new/better/different job in a while.

Make sure you blow your first two checks on some crap you don't need!

 

i'm still at my first job out of college (shockingly). It'll be 4 years next Saturday. I don't see me retiring there though but it's all about the experience you've gained from any job. I had jobs all throughout college that gave me the experience I needed to land this one. There's no such thing as a crappy job, you just have to have the mentality to take what you can out of it.

what do you guys think of the amber LED turn signals?? My switchbacks shit the bed, they were flickering like crazy (not sure why) I had these ambers kicking around. I ordered new switchback bulbs but thought Id toss these in while I wait

I was thinking, I don't vinyl wrap anything...and I'd wrap those fog ligths...

 

 

what I did was, I made a template out of sheet paper...basically just shoved it into the glass opening...used a pencil to trace outline, cut it out...then used that to trace onto the vinyl to make the perfect shape.
then I cleaned with IPA...and applied the vinyl. I just did it to avoid rocks taking out the glass though.

 

only thing is, my inspire fogs are already installed. Im not taking them out, that install was such a bitch. They're kinda sorta just shoved in there lol so I'm hoping I can get a clean install with the vinyl overlay

 

Dude, the inspires are even easier to make the template...they're flat!
