MODS for the Gran Coupe UPDATE: RaceChip Arrived!!!

Looking at HRE FF01's in Liquid Black

Or, Vorsteiner VFF 103's

Price will not be a major factor in my decision, I'm more concerned about the look. What do you guys think? Oh, and of course I realize these cars aren't 650's but it was as close I could find for now.

Both look great. I would pick HREs based on those pics.

I personally like the Vorsteiners better but all things being equal and HRE's being what they are makes it difficult. I can actually get a staggered set of either type in 20" 9/10.5" and the HRE's are cheaper!

HREs look just like every other mesh wheel out there. Vorsteiners have a unique look.

Normally, I would say HRE just as a matter of brand preference, but I think the Vorsteiners will look much better on a 6GC.

You can't go wrong with either. so i would go with HRE because it is HRE if you can't decide based on looks alone.

^^ precisely my quandary : HRE's are a known quantity, at least much more so than Vorsteiner. The concave look on the latter though is

I thought HRE has a huge selection. I am sure you can find one with the concave look you are looking for.

Edit:

http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/forged

P101 is very similar to Vorsteiner. fully forged monoblock. I am sure it is $$$$$

With the right width and offset, it will have the same concave look as the Vorstiner on the M5/M6. The picture you shown on the M4 might have higher offset and width than M6.

If I'm choosing between the two you're asking about I go Vorsteiner.

The HRE P101 are pretty cool as well

Yeah, the P101's are Craaaaaazy expensive so that's not an option. Why do people even (not you Joneill) suggest options that are not given? It's like this "I am looking at an A4 or a 335, which should I get?" Someone invariably answers "Oh screw that, get an M4 instead duuuuuude!" Looks like the Vorsteiners take the win

waiting for a quote on the Vorsteiners-so far I can get them for "substantially less than $2400" as per the competitor to that price offering.

HRE screams quality but I've fallen for buying something because it's a good deal and a great brand and then being uncertain if I love the look.
Varstoen for sure...

and in the theme of BROOOOO GET AN M4 when it wasn't an option...

In a 20x9 I believe there are about 3500-4000 for a set.

I'm not a huge fan of either of the ones you asked about. Have you considered...

But, of the two you asked about. I like the Vorsteiners a little bit more. Or rather, like the HRE a little bit less.

haha, no, I looked at a lot of wheels over the past few months on BMW boards and the style/price are the driving forces behind my decision.

Update

HRE'S IT IS! Just pulled the trigger on a set, 9x20 front, 10 x 20 rear on a set of Conti Extreme Contacts 255/35 & 285/30's. Be here by mid-next week. I got to thinking about quality and HRE wins that contest in my book hands down. They'll be the same color as these:

You can never go wrong with HRE.. especially you know that you will have the C/S support if needed, unlike most of the other companies.

Does that mean you are gonna lower your car too?
