Jhova's NBP Progress Thread (Pic Heavy)
Hello, everyone! I've been lurking on the page for quite some time now. Never got around to making an actual progress thread. 20 month recap, here we go...
I got her on New Years Day 2015. I fell in love the second I saw her as I pulled into the Acura dealership. I was sold before the test drive. This is my '06 NBP/Camel interior Base with Navi.
The day after I got her there was a big sleet storm
I kept the "mods" to a minimum for a while. The usual debadge, painted grill ect. She came with Type-S wheels when I bought her.
HIC window visors and tints
After lurking on here and on the FB 3G TL page, I got some motivation to start modding the car more and more. First big mods I did was the 3rd muffler delete and the intake resonator delete. I loved the new growl of the exhaust and the scream when VTEC hits.
I then fixed the passenger fender that a stupid girl hit while she merged into my lane without looking
HIC rear window visor version 2 to match the window visors
Later on I decided to go on a shopping spree on endlessrpm... Full Aspec kit, custom headlights done by me (blacked out housing, ZKWR lenses, Type-S diffusers wrapped in carbon fiber, switchback LED's), H&R race springs, endlessrpm J-pipe, high power reverse bulbs and license plate bulbs.
Custom headlights done by me
Car was starting to really come together now.
RDX caliper covers front and back
ATLP 3-piece wing
Accord style 6000k HID fogs
Custom plates
I came across a set of black powder coated A-Spec wheels. Fell in love all over again
I just had to have the badge now to make it official...
And this is how she sits now
Thanks for viewing!

Thank you, SIr!
Agreed. It was a hard decision between this and the Type-S A-Spec. Future mods... Does routine maintenance count? Lol. New suspension this winter, winter tires (better yet, a beater car), I'm in the works of getting PCD's from a friend. Forced induction has crossed my mind a couple times, but I'm not convinced.

Registered. Nothing more.
I see other TLs on the road. I see black ones and they dont 'look' good to me.
I look at all the pictures and your car may be the only Black TL that I like. I like your work so far.

Thank you. I know exactly what you mean. The black hides all of the gorgeous lines this car has.

The modding bug has bit again... Traded my headlights for cash plus stocks (with tint on them) today. Didn't like them, traded them for super oxidized stocks. Refinished them to their original glory. Ready to mod these again, just brainstorming ideas together. Update soon...

We all start from zero man. Good luck with your build!
I was thinking the same thing, but I do love the clear+switchback LED look too

as far as your headlights, id just black out the housing and leave it. Like I said the amber on the NBP looks killer. Get Amber LED for your fog bulb and that would look great
