Transmission swap, which gaskets and seals to replace?

I'm new to the forum, just picked up a 2003 TL S with a bad transmission. I'm replacing it with a 07 Accord V6 transmission that I picked up today. I would like to replace as many gaskets and seals while I'm in there, but are there any that should be left alone? For example, the rear main seal, transmission main seal, CV axle seals, etc. I'm trying to get a parts list together before I tear into it. I don't want to have parts everywhere while I wait for a gasket or seal to show up. I understand that I'll be swapping all the parts from the current transmission to the new one, how many parts required new gaskets or seals? Do most of them have their own o-ring gaskets?

Will the existing starter work with the new transmission? I haven't had a chance to read through the whole transmission swap thread yet, thought I would post here for help. Thanks.

The transmission is out now. I'm waiting on parts to show up. It has been difficult finding some of the parts locally, many shops weren't even showing parts. I was giving them part numbers that I found online. I want to shop locally, but it's hard when they can't even find the parts I need. Hopefully this weekend I'll have the car running, I haven't even driven it yet. I bought a 03 to type s with bad transmission. This is my first shot at pulling a transmission. Taking longer than expected, but I'm taking my time.

I just order from hondapartsunlimited.com. Alternately, search the part # on Amazon and see if they have it cheaper. Sometimes paying a few more bucks is worth it to get it sooner if you have Prime. Good luck with the swap, it is a lot of work.

I also had a rear main seal ready but it was dry when I opened it all up so I didn't replace it. I've heard of too many people replacing a seal that worked perfectly fine only to have it leak afterward.

I ordered 3rd and 4th gear shift solenoids, or pressure switches for the AV6 transmission instead of the tl. The part numbers were different from the Acura website vs Honda. Honda's website numbers are 28600-RAY-003 and 28610-ray-013. Acuras numbers are 28600-p7w-003 and 28600-p7w-013. Is there any difference between these sets of numbers? I figured since it's a 2007 accord transmission I'd order parts for it instead of the tl.

There are minor differences in the appearance of the switches, but they work the same and the connectors are the same as well. I've used the Honda switches in my TL-S just as they came with the AV6 transmission and I've also used the Acura switches in the AV6 without any issues. You'll be just fine with the ones that you ordered.
