It's got about 32K miles and is covered for a good bit longer under warranty. Will it be certified Pre-owned? If yes that adds 1 yr, 12K miles onto the factory bumper to bumper warranty.
Values:
Average retail is $27,250. $28K with the options is a fair price to pay. Personally I'm not a fan of the wheels and I'd look for factory wheels so I'd subtract $300 from their asking price. It's not a rare color combo (umber interior). I'd have no problem paying 27,900 if the tires and brakes are new and the car comes Certified Pre-Owned.

Price looks ok, just a tad high but depends on region.
It's the processing fee that I am not comfortable paying.

Hi Csmeance,
Yes, its Certified Pre-owned....one owner. Also the Internet Sales Manager made an error today by listing the car for 2k less ($26,989). I emailed him right away, told me he would honor the price for me if I come into the dealership in the next two days. I also told him that I would like to get remote starter at dealer for OEM part.
Thank you for your input, its very much appreciated.

Its getting close to the end of the month. I'd hold out or do a national search. I would insist on being OTD at their ask ($26989). No one is beating down the doors for 4G TL's. I just held out recently on a Shawd Advance CBP/Umber for 3 weeks on dealer. They were asking $24999. I bought car for $23500 OTD, thats everything included. Why? because there's no competition. Take advantage of airbag recall and let them know you have options. TLs are just sitting on lots, oh and yes mine was a 1 owner purchased and serviced at same Acura dealer. Don't be afraid to lose the car. There is more. They have to sell cars, you don't have to buy it. The ball really is in your court. I think 30k is alot, just my opinion.

Fair price for a low mileage, CPO SH-AWD Advance. If I were you, I would try negotiating $29k firm out the door.

A fair deal, Pohanka tends to service their cars well before selling (e.g. replacing hood shocks if necessary, replacing rotors opposed to resurfacing, etc) which makes their fair (but not lowest) pricing worth it.

Yup... what ghost said. I held out and got 3k taken off when I got mine and I compared it with another dealer that had it cheaper with a tad more miles.
I walked out on the sales guys, told him "thanks for your time", and he called me in the morning saying his manager approved the 3k off... even though it was a "no haggle dealership".
and certified.
I did my research, and it turns out the dealer had the car on the lot for a month... even though they claimed it was there for a week and half and a hot item car.
There will always be a good deal... just be patient.

I can almost guarantee that you can take it for $27,990 out the door. That includes tax and other fees. Meaning they will have to knock the price down to 25 and change.
That's pretty much what I did.
I said, "this other dealer has it for this price", and they were able to verify it since it was at another Acura dealership... they matched it, but started to add taxes and fees. I said nope, that price including taxes and fees, cash out the door.
Believe me, it worked.
Turns out two weeks later, the other dealership knocked of 2k on their TL. There's always a good deal out there.

If that's the car you want, you haggle for the best price now! If you wait, it could be gone! Somebody mentioned that they waited and saved 3k off of the car they purchased. No offense, but that's a luke-warm purchase, if you ask me. "I'll take it, if they give it to me for this price." You know, you can't call-up and order a used car. You make your best play, when you find the car that you really want, period!
As far as the price, I'd think that you could/should do better. But, if you can't do better on the price, it's still a wonderful car, even at that price. If I was to guess, I bet the dealer's into that car for about 23k. It's just a guess...
As far as the wheels, I'd deduct at least 2k for those (I know csmeance said $250, but I respectfully disagree). Who takes the beautiful Advance wheels, and swaps them out for those? Crazy! And, what about the pressure sensors?
While there are Advance models out there, they're far less common than the Tech models. Well, that's what I've observed.
Good luck! Please report back, if you can!

@ beak14 are you saying he makes his best play (offer) on the car and if they don't accept he get it anyway because it may be gone, because it's a wonderful car even if you are overpaying for it? If it's a respectable dealer they won't sell from up under him but they are usually not going to call his bluff because they could lose a serious buyer by saying someone else wants the car. He should be out the door closer to 27k, nowhere near 30k. And as far as me haggling and using patience for 3 weeks I couldn't be happier to have a dealer tell me my OTD was $27800 after my first conversation with sales lol and I was out the door @ 23500 three weeks later because as I said previously, there are TL's rotting on lots. They have to move them. I don't care how wonderful the car is I'm not going to overpay for it. However, I'm with you on those wheels. They are absolutely horrid. He should get a rebate to get OE19's lol

they probably took that car in trade for around 22,500 to 23k. they put $1,500 at most into the car, probably have around $1,000 in pack so break even is around $25,500 so at $26,995 they are making a fair profit and you are getting a solid deal since it is certified. dealer retail on that car is 27k without certification. plus you get the body kit and the car looks clean. they guys throwing their nuts around making up prices have no clue what they are talking about.

To replace a complete long-block (short-block & heads), 3.7, what are you looking at? 10k? New transmission? 5k, at least. A car with beautiful paint, and interior, how much is that worth, to you? We can go on, and on, about the merits of buying a well-loved, used car, or buying a car that's been treated like a red-headed step-child. So, I ask you: "what do you mean by overpaying?" If you save far more in future repairs, because you bought the car that was well-loved, are you overpaying?
Now, with regards to this car, I haven't seen it, and I don't know if it's worth a premium. My point: "do not sit back, and let somebody snatch, from you, the car that you should be buying, even if it costs you a bit more." If you want to save a few extra bucks, because some book told you a number, go ahead. Me, though, when I find the right car, I'll pay more money for it, because I know it will come back to me. You buy the right car, take care of it, and you'll, more than likely, get the money back, when you go to sell it. You might not get all of it, but I think you get the idea.
Now, with regards to overpaying, I suppose you could start a Gofundme page, to cover the overage.
And yes, the wheels... *sigh*

How are these cars maintaining their value so much Stateside? Is it that rare?
They are much cheaper here in Canada used. I see a few 4G every day on the roads here so maybe the demand for them is not as high.
