148K miles on my NBP 06 Base and still running like a dream.. the tranny was replaced at about 30K cuz it was making whining noise (still drove fine). The front seats are cracking around the perforations and along the edges. My 17 year old daughter is using it for local run-around now (she got voted "Best ride" in her senior class) and I picked up an Accord Sport for my 100 mile daily commute. I was considering letting the TL go but every time I look at it I fall in love all over again - especially when I see the looks (yuk!!) and prices (gasp!!) for the new Acuras. I am now strongly considering repainting the front end, beefing up the brakes (constantly warping), maybe some nice wheels and re-doing the seats. And then I'd get my daughter a cheapy lease to run-around in and the TL becomes my baby again... Although wifey might have issue since I have an 07 Mustang GT that's my baby too

Purchased my 08 base certified pre owned from the original dealer 4 years ago with 50K, just turned 160K. I have a long commute for work with almost exclusively highway and interstate miles. I do M1 oil myself every 7500, Honda and/or redline atf every 15K. I changed spark plugs at 98K, let the dealer do the timing belt and coolant exchange. They replaced a needed power steering seal, covered under the extended warranty. I am researching brake rotors now to change, maybe myself. I plan to keep the car forever and for my kids to drive it five years from now. How's yours doing lately?

Yesterday, I clocked 100k on my 06 TL. I got it brand new in October of 2006, so that puts me at about 10k a year.
In the last three months or so, I got a new battery, new tires, timing belt service, rear brake and the brake system flush, power steering flush (will need new power steering pump to as mine is leaking like crazy). I am also due for a manual fluid flush (cant remove the drain bolt ). With all that said, I think I am set for about 3 years maintenance free driving, unless something unexpected happen. At that point, I will most likely sell the car and get perhaps used 4 cyl TLX (hopefully by then they will have all the transmissions issues, vibrations etc sorted out)

100 miles shy of 60k on my 07 TL auto. Purchased with 35k miles 2 years ago. Have since installed koni yellow shocks with H&R sport springs, front and rear H&R sway bars 28/22, UR aluminum crank pulley and xlr8 jpipe.

Car drives great although I am happy/unhappy with the progressive H&R springs. The progressive coil section makes riding over small bumps very compliant but also prone to car leaning towards driver side a little. Common issue with lowering springs.

2004 base... got lucky when I found it just a few weeks ago.
just hit 125K.

Car is perfect except for front right engine mount and seats. I'm going to get the kit for the front seats from leatherseats.com and get an upholstery guy/gal put it on.

Wow, some of the mileage y'all are getting is crazy! Glad to know these cars can last if taken care of. Maybe I shouldn't be so picky about the mileage in my TLS search...

126k on 08 WDP. I agree with a previous poster, everytime I look at her I fall in love all over again. I'm a tech guy so I wish I had the new bells and whistles that he new TL's come with but for looks...I'll take my 3rd Gen any day. I've kept up with all of the maintenance from day 1 and she still ride strong as ever.

My 06 just hit 188k. I'm the second owner. I did the tb at 120k. But I'm disappointed with my interior. Driver seat ripped. 2 cracks on dash. Still fun to drive and runs well. Was debating about a 13 Lexus gs350 fsprt but I still like mine and no note going on 3 years. I know it's hot here in Mississippi but the interior should have lasted longer

My 07 TL also has a pretty bad rip on the driver seat. All other seats are in good condition. Looks like perforated leather isn't very durable.

I bought my '08 on June 27th with 87,999 miles. I now have 88,700. The car runs great but i have the "Tighten Fuel Cap" message, whine at first start up from the belt, and a tear in drivers seat that I am currently working to get repaired. Other than that, it is drives really well. I will need tires and the 105,000 service soon though.

The whine is your power steering pump. Two o-rings need updating, a cheap and easy fix. Welcome!

Bought my Black 07 Type S with 105,000 it had all service performed at Acura, 3.5 years later and 178,000 still running great. I had new motor mounts and power steering pump reseal kit, right front wheel bearing and alternator. All work done by me using Honda parts. I am very happy with the car!

have owned several 3G TLs, and none of them ever gave me problems. had an auto TL type s with 185k with original everything and that car drove great! as long as regular maintenance is done, these cars should go 300k easy.

on youtube, i remember seeing a TSX hit the 500k mark and still looked like a newer car! i hope our TLs can go that long!

I'm up to 125,000 now on my 2008 TL. Feels like it's barely broken in. I had the 105K service done at a local Honda dealership and he said the car should run to 250,000 with no problems. Fingers crossed because I love this car.

06 TLX almost to 300K Miles

I might be in the wrong spot. It seems like most of the posts are for TLs. I have an 06 TSX. It has 297,000 miles on it and I should be to 300,000 soon. The car looks and runs like it did when it was new. Most of these Acura's seems to last a long time and are well taken care of by their owners makes them great used car buys too. :-)

2007 WDP base with navi. At 115k and biggest repairs were an alternator and positive battery cable. Leaks a little oil, but other than that, she's great

Just passed my 11 year mark on my 2004. 96,500 miles. I have NEVER sat in my TL and thought "Boy, I wish I would have bought another car." I have driven lots of cars in 11 years, and every time I get back in the TL I think "I made the correct choice." I'm usually on the 10 year plan, but not in this case. Any my favorite thing: 80 mph in 3rd gear at 6,000 RPM. Puts a smile on my face every time.

At about 213, 600 on my 05TL. Getting the second timing belt service done and 5/6 (not the front one- that one is not shot) engine/tranny mounts done too as I type this.

Re milage

170k on my 04. Engine is efficent in the sense that it doesnt ware itself much i have yet to replace belts and ive had it for 100k. P/s pump is to look out for, mine has been slowly taking a shit on me over the last year but thats a known issue i guess. I picked up a second daily cuz i want to pul my engine apart and over haul/rebuild it this winter. Should be a fun project.
