I once ordered a rice-bowl sized heap of wasabi. And tipped the chef to shape it like a scoop of ice cream.

Served it to my guests and said it was...green-tea ice cream. Good times. Good times.

jeans and a hat for me for work. Zero fucks given. I laugh at my consultants always dressing up. Bish please. You're not impressing me. I care about the designs you put together, not whether you're dressed up.

i guess that's the beauty of being the "owner", vs being the consultant, or even lowly contractor

There are dinner jackets and then, dinner jackets. A fine gentleman should ALWAYS have at least 2 good suits.

Honestly, that's all you'd need to start. Something mid-dark gray and something blue. One of them should have a pattern and the other solid color.

My car with 196K miles, currently parked with a bad transmission awaiting quotes to fix or just part out. Became a homeowner 2 months ago, live with my GF and we have (2) 4 legged children. We enjoy most of our time out doors on the lake, or hiking through the woods. I am an avid hunter, and yes I have had deer in my trunk! I am a machine designer for occupation and like to work on my car when I have free time. Reside in Southeast Wisconsin.

There my background in a nut shell. Ya happy!?

You are such an engineer! BUT...it does not hurt to dress up once in a while. In general, I'm almost always in a suit (no tie)...On horridly hot days, I will go casual. But, otherwise, well, depending on the industry you are in, what you wear does matter. Hate to say it, we are now in a shallow shallow very shallow world. People judge you on appearances...

FWIW, my general day-to-day suits are from Hugo Boss. I save the Prada and D&G suits for more formal affairs. But, Boss suits which can be as low as $400-$500 depending on the sales, are fantastic.
