Sunday nights after 10 or midnight or something were Brazilian Death Metal time on KBPI "Rocks the Rockies". The more metal of the two not-classic-rock stations in Denver.

Well.. Generally it was 30-40 minutes per song. I think eventually it started to speed up to about 22-25 minutes. But you'd still get the occasional slow as balls download that took 45 minutes. And knowing your luck, some motherfucker would stop your download, or your internet would disconnect, with only 8 seconds left and as such, the file wouldn't work

 

I remember trying for the life of me to download a demo version of Quake 2... The file was just under 9mb... I never got it. Always got disconnected.
