Didnt get up to a whole lot....played some soccer with mini me 1 and got him signed up for an Under 4 league and then watched some fireworks a neighboring town postponed from last week, and drove around town after church yesterday.

 

didn't watch the final yesterday? I thought you'd be waiting for Ronaldo's shirt to come off...

 

Watched a lot of it while eating lunch....then it wasnt a great game so i popped out expecting it to go to penalties and then they scored....didnt see him without his shirt, although from previous examples i see something similar every morning when i step outta the shower....

on that note; washed two cars, took care of the lawn and bathed myself this weekend.

 

Jizmo stayed parked. It's been raining pretty much every day here. We had drought conditions from mid march until mid may. And now the skies have opened up and it's just rain and/or thunder and lightning and/or hail all the time.

 

Chadpinder is just jealous he wasn't recognized, as he puts a bunch of effort into his lawn.

actually, wait, that's not true. I took the car out on Friday night to pick up a saw from my brother's house. Figured I'd go for a cruise while I was at it.

Next time, I should check the dimensions of whatever I intend to carry I pull up and realize the table saw is much bigger than I anticipated. So I took half the saw apart to be able to fit it in.

the 370 and I believe 350s have these manual privacy sliding covers, that cover up whatever is in the trunk (which is stupid, because with the the privacy thing closed, the trunk is only like 8" deep). Well upon removal of the saw, I realized that I put two nice scratches on the black painted finish on the slider thingy.

Looks like I'm going oem parts shopping asap. I don't want to just paint (or dip) that piece. I wanna keep it minty fresh. I dunno why, but thank God that OEM Nissan parts are MUCH cheaper than OEM Honda/Acura parts.

I think we all just picture J, every morning, with a pair of scissors trimming his front lawn. And then painting the mail box. and then trimming the trees. and then repouring the concrete walk. and then replacing all the fascia on the house... before it's 7:15am and time to leave for work.

I started building this, this weekend:



Except instead of a bench, I'm making it into a bar table for the deck. Same design, just much bigger. I needed the table saw to trim off the rounded edges off all the 2x4s. A planer would've did the job nicely, but I don't have one and I'm not about to go buy one for this job. The table saw worked well, but I'll have to do a bunch of sanding to give it a nice finish before staining.

 

Gentlemen, no need to be assholes. It seemed odd to mention J in regards to lawns. It's that simple. If owning a lawnmower = LOTM then fine. We all have lawns of the month I guess. Being a go getter means dick as you mow when you need to mow. The end.

Also Ulster you're far too familiar having only been here for less then two months bud.

 

All I see is butthurt here, and it's only coming from one person, while the rest of us are having fun...
