Yumcha, I had authentic Chinese food on Saturday and it was wonderful! Who knew that ginger beef and sweet and sour pork could be so delicious!
No, but for real, Wifey and I went to a place called Noodle Feast. Small place. We walk in, and it's jam packed. Of the 40 people in their, 4 were white. And they were with other Asians. Wifey and I were the only all white table
Food was to die for. Super delicious. If you're ever in town, check it out!

NICE! Google of the menu shows that they are a northern-Chinese noodle shop...where the noodles are made in-house. NICE. One of the dishes I really enjoy is just the plain noodle bowl with nothing else except for some flavoring and onions. Many noodle-type shops offer this very simplistic and carbtastic bowl...but, it's just great. The alternative of the beef brisket noodle is also a worthy try.

On Canada Day, the wife and I actually went for dimsum...our first time in a RONG time...maybe 2+ years now? We enjoy the "brunch" but always find that we're tanked for the rest of day...the combination of salt, oil, and grease probably is what does us in.
But, it was still a nice treat. Had some tendon, chicken feet, chive-shrimp dumplings (steamed and panfried), radish cakes, and sticky rice. And cha, of course...have to have cha...albeit, it was not the best cha.
Cantonese dry noodle with bbq pork is my shit It's a mixed Canto/Viet dish that's one of my favorite foods to eat hands down. usually paired with a bowl of pork broth
