Sounds like he just wants chad to come over... And take a look at his "car".
If a guy doesn't know what options his car has, did he even remember to take it for maintenance? Lord knows he wouldn't get his freshly pressed tuxedo dirty, laying on his garage floor like some plebe.

plus he has a tuxedo just for oil changes... cmon taco
Nah, this is golden. Buy it.
Homeboy bought it because it was a pretty car and he wanted it. He knows nothing about it besides it's got the prestigious 4 ring grill that all the Joneses want to keep up with.
I bet he buys stupid shit like cars and watches and stuff like I buy candybars. Get hungry, why not Butterfinger?
I bet it's a solid buy from a total airhead assclown.

How many miles did he put on it? (I ask generally, not to you specifically as a challenge or anything)
I'd bet dollars to donuts that it had all maintenance done on time or early.
Dude is a joker of the n-th degree.
Probably smells a bit like loose butthole, but some fabreeze will take care of that.

From what the CF says..yes. Like I said all that checks out with the VIN.
I'm going to call AudiUSA and verify what options it has and it's CPO/Audi care status.
I understand I WANT to agree with cul0 but...I agree with culo. This could be a golden opportunity.

In my experience, there's no such thing as a good deal when it comes to cars. Unless this guy is 1 out of 100,000,000 and he really is that dumb. Then you hit the jackpot. But if he is that dumb, I really start to wonder about the history of that car. Shift gears? I drive an Audi. I don't have to shift. I dunno. I'm paranoid. I'd hate to be stuck with a 40k POS. Maybe it is a gem, but I've got enough suspicions to keep looking. It's not like you need a car at the moment.
If you're a gambling man, go check it out. You're only an $89 plane ticket away

Figure out his local dealer (or if you know from the history report already) and see if they offer concierge service. I bet that toolbox had the car flatbedded back and forth from the dealer to his McMansion every 6 months.
Holy mother of satan. Now I want to buy it and I don't even like Audis.
You might be able to negotiate a straight trade for half a box of pop-tarts and some used deodorant if you work him over really hard.
Tell him it's devalued because of the options and that with the regional adjustment, he'd need to *pay* a wrecker to take it off his hands. But you'll do it for the aforementioned poptarts and stinkstick.

From the story so far...
This is the sort of transaction I dream about.
Of course, caveat emptor, see the car first. But my spidey sense says all signs point to yes.

He has a wife and knows how to dress...
Only thing the whole if you don't buy it, it'll get traded in to create some sort of sense of urgency...but then he urges for you to come see the car.
Like you said, could be fantastic, or sucky. Would he be willing to have Audi to a prepurchase inspection? That was a big selling point to me...the fact that JJH was willing to have that done and have Andy take a look at it. I think he knew that if he shied away from either of those, I would have probably backed out.

I love that thing.. the hinges are a little stiff sometimes but i work out my forearms so it's no match for me
... which reminds me, i should go lube them up..

That guy doesn't even have any pores on his face. I can determine a LOT from that simple picture.
Audi verified the CPO warranty and Audi Care service. It's adding up!
They are emailing me a PDF copy of the original sticker.
