In my experience, there's no such thing as a good deal when it comes to cars. Unless this guy is 1 out of 100,000,000 and he really is that dumb. Then you hit the jackpot. But if he is that dumb, I really start to wonder about the history of that car. Shift gears? I drive an Audi. I don't have to shift. I dunno. I'm paranoid. I'd hate to be stuck with a 40k POS. Maybe it is a gem, but I've got enough suspicions to keep looking. It's not like you need a car at the moment.

Like you said, could be fantastic, or sucky. Would he be willing to have Audi to a prepurchase inspection? That was a big selling point to me...the fact that JJH was willing to have that done and have Andy take a look at it.
