If you haven't bought the other calipers yet, I would say just skip it not sure it's worth the effort, time, and money. You should just paint these ones white! Just get the g2 white paint and you'll be done in 2 hours and only 40 bucks gone
Thanks man, Yea I'm just gona drive it like this for now I think. No spacers. But I want the RL calipers on there lol. It looks like theres still some clearance on the stock calipers so I might luck out. Maybe wont need to do anything or just a 5mm. Ill def test fit them before getting them coated EDIT: I already have the calipers for a bit, one came apart great the other one we have been trying to get the fucker apart for a while. Seized bolts Just put it aside for the time being

Looks great, Jeff...it really does, congrats on a well put together car.
Thanks man

Not much else to do except HFPC. Getting diff headlights as these ones are leaking and all that fun stuff.. Im just going to keep it simple, no weird coloured ring and strip

And theres still a chance I might not do white calipers

I like pink, and I like purple. Pink on kbp would look awesome man!

I was thinking like a deep glossy dark purple with polished embossed acura lettering lol but might be too overboard for my car.

Ill likely do white with RBP lettering or some sort of metallic flake silver with black lettering

got the car back from the body shop yesterday. They did a good job with the fender. Booked the car in for a full detail on the 25th. Ill get into some before and after pics next week.

Theres nothing wrong on the paint just swirling and shit, needs a good buff

also put my dampening to 6 clicks... much better. Not too stiff but takes bumps comfortably

Im a pro at taking the rear seat out now

Do not go too hard on that soft Honda paint.
I'm a firm believer in just protecting what you got, man...swirls are a non show car's life.
Look into opticoating...

it was repainted last year so it should have zero swirls after its done being detailed (like i said mine are pretty minor) they will prob use a very light compound. These guys are really good at what they do so I have trust in them that they will make it perfect.

she needs a good clay bar job

Awesome man, I need to get mine detailed.

6 clicks huh? My flex are too bouncy at 12. I need to tighten them up.

said fuck it, leaving the rear seat out lol. Around town I need the suspension to be soft and take bumps comfortably but when I go on the twisties and or the highway I want it to be stiffer. No way I'm going to take the seat out everytime, so its gonna stay out. The strut bar removal for the front is only 6 nuts so that like 5mins. no biggie there. Also did the spare tire delete lol.

80 lbs shaved, Not bad

I agree no rear seat is ridiculous haha. The drive is super loud and you can't drive anyone around (like when you get a job out of college and want to go to lunch with coworkers or family is in town).

Spend a few hundred and get an EDFC you don't need the nice wireless one you can get the old version pretty cheap.

Completely worth the money.

Or just set it at a happy medium and leave it...
I don't think I've adjusted my dampening more than 3 times in 7 years.

32 way, more than likely...I thought all the new TEIN were 32.
Either way, if you're going toward loose, confirm that, you can unscrew that know IIRC.

loving the ride height man! Again more convincing for me to go lower lol.

Good call on the dampening setting. Mine were at like 12 at first and were way too bouncy. I have them at 5 from stiff now and absolutely love it.

Tein street flex is 16 way adjustable. Avoid going past the 16 in the soft direction and definitely do not drive with it past 16 you can damage things.

Always go full stiff and count from there

yea I had it at full soft and just counted clicks from that point.

so I should start it at full stiff and count the clicks counter clockwise?

thats what I'm thinking. and yes all the way to the left is full soft and all the way to the right is full stiff. I originally thought there was only 16 clicks. so i had it al full soft and just counted in from there lol

You can tell which way is stiff cause it gets more tense.

Gotta let them cycle through a few times...
also, did you use new dessicant packs? That did the trick for me, thanks to Thanh's suggestion. Let me know if you want the link...you can shove one in each from the fender well.

^ yea they've been messed up since I put them in last summer. New silica pacs and ballast gaskets. Even took out that ring thats around the DRL bulb.. no go. The sealing wasn't up to par is my conclusion because they actually leak and not just fogging issues.

How did the adjustment go!?

I also realized that there are like 30 clicks on the Flex suspension. I was always told to go to full stiff (righty tighty) and then click back. I started at 12 clicks, went to 10, still too bouncy.

Are you at 6 now? I need to get around to tightening mine up and removing the rear seat (again).
