Should I have all the chrome painted black or just the brushed aluminum parts. Does anyone have a pic of a blacked out ZDX?

 

you're going to run into problems if you paint chrome.

paint cant adhere to chrome.

the best way to change the color would be to wrap those pieces in vinyl

or you can do the cheap and easy way by using plastidip. (Ewww)

 

What would look better in your opinion? All black everything or leave chrome alone? My car is black btw

 

I personally like the sport look.
if you take a gander at "sports cars" their trim is ALWAYS black, matte black, or gloss black! never never chrome!

on the other hand, since your car is black, I do like the chrome contrast!

the easiest and cheapest way to change the color would be to buy cans of plastidip @ $8 a pop.
Plastidip can be bought in various different colors and can be peeled off, if you dont like the outcome

 

I'm going to have the chrome pieces hydro dipped that's my final decision! All black it is!
