there's a pretty new A6 in my office building garage.
it looks super sexy!

 

A6s are gorgeous! And fast too (same supercharged v6). Just not as sporty as a S4/5

I kind of like that color on the S5. Same with the interior...

 

idunno, it looks super extra sporty.
its a different design than the S4/5, more boxy, i would say.

the S4/5 looks like a sea creature a la infiniti

the A6 reminds me of RS4/RS6 of yesteryear, SUPER FUCKING SPORTY!

I mean they all look 'sporty' compared to most design languages out there. But under the sheet metal it's not the same as one of the S's. Plus no manual.

 

My next car is an Audi. Parked next to an S4 the other night. Told my wife, that's our next car.

It's been a topic of conversation lately. Then going to a weekend car. Back to me getting a nice car. Weekend, etc. The TL leaving me stranded for the first time ever last week certainly helped my chances here.

I just don't love that color scheme. Plus I'm hoping I can find one with the rear diff and preferably a Prestige. All the 2013+ are just now starting to make their way into the market. So I want to get the TL ready to go (have to fix a couple things) and then be ready to pounce when I come across the right one.

 

And I imagine I'll mod the S5 too. Just at a much slower pace and not nearly as deep as the TL...

Wheels, some piping, tune when the warranty runs out. Maybe a slight drop, maybe. That's about it...

 

Yeah.....I hear that.

The problem with getting something used, is you're stuck with whatever is there....unless VERY patient.

I am waiting patiently for when the time comes to purchase a 2012 E63 AMG black on black sedan.

 

The 2013-2014 least S5's should be popping up soon. I would snag one of those, especially since the maintenance should have been done religiously at Audi.

 

Yep that's what I've waited 3 years for. Soon there will be lots of options in the $30-35k range.

Jeremy had the best one really. Blue on black Prestige 6spd with the rear diff (I think it had the rear diff).

 

Fuck why couldn't this be black, or white, or red, or blue!

 

 

$360 a month on an A3..... Wonder what the S5 would be.

 

 

Shiiiiit, maybe I should trade the Explorer for a Q5. I didn't know they had 3rd row.

I've also been eyeing the 335i.

An Audi out of warranty?

 

The luxury sedan is definitely a next step for me.....plus a weekend toy.

Yeah....any of the German cars out of warranty is always at the back of my mind.....but......a 2012 E63 AMG is going to make me not focus on that more often than not.

 

Helllllll no. I'm getting warranty.

 

Or lease it keep it for 3 years, give it back get something else.

Audi -> 3 years
BMW --> 3 years

*Then purchase a Lexus

y'all need to be happy with what you got. Flip, you got two brand new cars in your garage and yet you're already looking past them. It'll be the same with the Audi- you'll buy it, be happy for a few weeks, start looking at BMW. Enjoy what you have, son.

 

I may just say fuck it and buy a bicycle. Make that shit a luxury bike.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love my cars. Just thinking about the future.

 

I know I am happy with what I have......however, I need something that is a little more grown up for the next (and final) stage of my career.

 

fair enough, but always looking at the future makes it harder to appreciate the present.

 

That comes down to perspective/circumstances.

I do agree though, tomorrow is promised to no one, so, make the most of today.
