I much prefer Audi over BMW. Yes, I know BMWs are faster, and blah blah blah, but like I said, I don't care about being the fastest. There are far less Audis on the roads here than BMWs and to me, that is appealing. I really like their design language. And their interiors... oh man... so nice.
I've wanted a S5 forever. However, I want the post face-lifted supercharged v6 not the v8. If I wanted the v8 I'd already own one.
So too good of a deal to be true? Looking at all the colors man there really aren't many I'd want. Yellow, red, maybe a blue.
you gotta see the s2000s in person. The exterior color plus interior color go a long way (assuming you don't get just a black interior). White on red interior is gorgeous. The dark silver on red interior is gorgeous.
I'm surprised you're not interested in black. Either way, don't let the photos do all the deciding for you. It's completely different when you're standing beside the car, as opposed to looking at it online.
J, if you really wanted it, I'm sure you could make it work. Selling the s2k and the black TL would likely make for a nice down payment. Granted, you'd have monthly payments for awhile, but again, it's not like you couldn't do it, especially if you buy a slightly used car.
No payments is a beauty though. Can't and won't argue with you on that.
I know it, man...it's the no payments that REALLY get me going. You know, gets the heart racing...I keep looking at the bank account and it's like, there's more money in there. Not like that wouldn't be the case with 500 less a month in there...but you know...kinda like stackin that cheddar...can also buy a lot of little toys to make me smile without too much worry.
I would consider it but as much as I love the blue TL now...and how much fun and joy to drive as it's bringing me, I don't see me itching again for a LONG time.
Fuck off, flip (and I mean that in a loving way ) We kept telling you to either keep it or get a Type S. Ain't no one saw you getting a brand new Accord Sex. Uh, I mean, Accord Sport.
You're the one who set the "must be flawless" standard for the Type S, not us
I drove to work today. To avoid the arena construction, I parked 12 blocks away from my building.
About to just order a roof spoiler and hope it's what I'm looking for. I don't want something hella bulky, but I don't want anything too skinny. Something in the middle would be fine.
I had some time during lunch, so decided to cruise down to a Ford dealership. What a mistake.
The GT350 is even cooler than I could have imagined. Active exhaust, with just a flip of a switch to go from sleeper to monster.
IDC control, to change from normal, sport, track modes.
Magneride suspension with adjustable dampening by just flicking through the IDC
Carbon fibre composite rad support
15" Brembos
Light clutch. Super surprised by this, for a car pushing 530hp.
Dealership willing to sell at MSRP to me. Problem is, I want "competition Orange" which is discontinued for 2017. Dealership said they could possibly still get me one from another dealer if I act quick. WTF!!!
I just wrote Wifey an email saying I'm in the office signing papers. Curious to see how she reacts I want one so bad and now I'm willing to do anything to get one in my garage.
Pick a color! There's 5 sitting out front
Ford CLEARLY copied The TL-S exhaust.
Dat butt.
Brembos all around, with these massive puppies up front.
Apparently Ford was benchmarking against the Porsche GT3 RS, from what I've heard. Not sure how accurate that info is though. Starting price of that car is 60k more though.
Dude on the pavement and on paper the new Mustangs are top-notch. Look at every site and how they talk about them. Perfect balance of everything. They ARE the car to buy right now.
Didn't Ford just post some ridiculous first quarter numbers the other day?
No idea, to be honest. If it's not in the automotive section of AZ, I don't know
and many will argue it, but I think what is helping ford move units is the fact that they have a legitimate performance division, with all the STs and RS and GT350... They get people noticing a company more, even if they can't afford to buy those models.
People on AZ were saying that performance vehicles do nothing for a company. I disagree. I think it's those cars that get people in the door, even if they aren't buying them. Honda/Acura has nothing these days, save for the Civic Si. Sorry Honda, that doesn't cut it. I'm sure the NSX has helped a bit, but, seeing as there are none on the road yet, I wonder how much it will help. Time will tell, I suppose. But it is still a largely unattainable car for many.
the top notch Camaro can put a spanking on the GT350. I don't remember what the model is called, but it's also much more expensive from the factory. Personally, I can't stand GM designs. As much of a monster that car might be, it does nothing for me, looks wise.
Anyway, I wonder if that's why it won. MT also seems to absolutely adore GM vehicles, regardless of what they are. I remember when they were calling the 1998 Malibu CotY
