Acura decal for front bumper
Hey All,
I know this has been discussed before, but seems like it's been a few years and most links posted in some of the discussions for a solid built Acura decal for the front bumper are no longer active.
So, I'm curious to know if people have recommendations on high quality Acura emblems for the front bumper. I bought one off eBay last year, and needless to say a few stone chips later it had holes in it (it also started peeling away after a while).
I don't mind paying a little extra for quality..

most of us have taken them off our cars.
it was cool for about 2.5 seconds and then it was visually lame for the car.
so, maybe thats why you cant find them any more....no more demand for them.
it was only a hot seller because some one drummed up interest for them. then that individual ran into production problems and it wasnt a viable business practice any more..so im guessing that individual moved on from producing these

I bought some from a guy called ImpactGrafix on etsy a few years back. just gloss black flat decals. Relocated front license plate so put them in there and I like them

Hey, do you drive an Acura? Because I'm not 100% sure.

Well it's essentially just blacking out an already existing Acura stamp on the bumper, which is visual with or without the black decal. Thoiboi brings up a good point and I think I'm in the same position, I have a lot of black accents on my Type S, and having the bumper stamp blacked out would just add to it.
Although a personal preference for me, I do like consensus from everybody else...since that's what most other drivers will be saying when they see it Thoiboi, that's the same decal I had and it only lasted about a year for me I'm starting to think, to Justn's point, they don't manufacture high quality decals anymore based on low demand.

I have one of old school domed decals in carbon fiber on my ABP. It's subtle on my car.

I've been making decals for close to 14 years now (part time signage business) I make my own. The thickness of the material will determine how susceptible it is to rock chips, most places use cheaper material (I do too for a lot of stuff, it makes sense financially, exp. now that everyone and their mother is making decals) you would probably need to ask the seller for a tougher material.
in this case, I would try to make one with a domed laminate.

I have a 24" roland GX-24 (owned it for 12 years now, it's a workhorse!) for my sign company. I pick up pressure sensitive vinyl and the machine cuts it, similar to a CNC. Doming is a process done with essentially a self leveling liquid and a syringe. it's poured onto the decal and the tensile (wrong word?) strength of the the of the decal prevents it from rolling over onto the backing paper.
