'13 TL Dash Removal

Hello All,
I have been having trouble with water in my floor. The water was tracked it back to a crack in the evaporator housing. The estimate I get from the dealer to have the $100 part replaced was $1300. Obviously it's going to be a pain to get to, being buried in the dash. I spent 30 minutes poking around and realized I need to get a better idea of how to approach the evaporator.
Does anyone have access to the exploded view or steps to remove the dash. The whole thing is very tight to work with and one part over lapping the other. It would help a great deal if I knew I wasn't waisting my time in one area of the dash when I could be missing the easier way.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Todd

I'll post the service manual scans for you. Beware that you'll need to evacuate the A/C refrigerant before removal of the parts. Also maybe you could fix the crack with some epoxy to save time and energy?

Also sometimes the actual drain from under the car can get clogged/blocked and the condensations backs up into the car. Some oil change places put a screw in the drain to avoid water drips when changing the oil and forget to remove it, other times mold can grow and clog the drain.

Is this not something you can get fixed under warranty? It is a 2013.

Hello carbonTSEX.
Good question. I was told that since I live in Canada and this is a US vehicle, that there is no warranty.
Regards,

Regards,
can you drive over the border and get it fixed in the US? I'd imagine you'd have to schedule an appointment so you get a loaner car.
