Charger Scat Pack
I went with my cousin on Friday to pick up his new charger. I only got to drive it about 50 miles, and it was still during the break in period, but all I have to say is wow. He had a charger RT previously and this feels like a completely animal. This car just feels like it is angry when you drive it unless you are breaking all the speed limits. For how large and heavy it is, it handles very well. I will be borrowing it to detail sometime in May since he gets a rental for work, so expect a review and better pictures then.

Love the color, looks awesome and like a lot of fun.
Hope your cousin can enjoy many fun miles.
Also, remember this car measures it in smiles per gallon so feel free to lean into it a bit more.

Love the new front ends on these things and the purple just looks so perfect on it.

Can we stop jerking off Sarlac in every Chryco thread?
Thanks.
6.4L I would have gone for the SS 6MT sedan, but the 8 speed ZF is a capable transmission.
Thanks.

Thanks again guys, he'll appreciate it
With my limited experience operating it, the ZF 8-speed is incredible. I can't believe that an automatic can shift this fast. I mean I am used to a TL automatic so any new car probably shifts faster, but still.

I just ordered one of these yesterday! The way you describe how it drives is perfect.

That color scheme is perfect, I love the red alcantara. I feel the same way, I used to like the challengers better, but I feel like the charger is a way better value. Plus the new ones look awesome compared to the old style imo.

The new Charger is the best sport sedan for the money in the market today, hands down.
Too bad my Q50 Sport AWD is only 1 1/2 years old....I would lose too much money trading it now.....I strongly considering a fully optioned SRT 392 (unfortunately the Hellcat cannot be had with the technology package).
From a sport sedan perspective, anyone in the market for a 328i, Q50 2.0t and the other 4 banger offering, needs to have his/her head examined if doesn't at least take a new Charger RT Road and Track for a spin before signing on the dotted line.

I don't understand why people rip on the chargers. Yes I understand it is a Dodge product and sometimes they get a bad rap. For the money though, you get a rwd v8 sedan that you can daily even if you have a family and need a spacious vehicle.

You're crazy if you think people should be required to cross-shop them.

Though all those guys are still running the shit stock tires.
I would very much love a Scat Pack. I love my Durango too much right now, though. I wish they would offer the 392 in it.

Also, I wish they did offer the charger with a stick to compete with the chevy ss. I know they wouldn't sell many, and probably will never do it, but a kid can dream.

Hell, I shunned off American cars until I bought my Challenger. But that was during a time, coming out of period when many American cars were garbage.
Time have changed, and some people refuse to open their eyes because of past experiences or ignorance.

...except it does handle like a much smaller car...
What is the take rate for manual 320i, 328i and ATS?? The Q50 2.0t does not even come with a stick.
If you do not want/need a stick people would be crazy not cross-shopping these 4 bangers with a Charger RT.

Beautiful color. Your cousin made an awesome choice!
I came extremely close to joining to Team Mopar yesterday in the form of a black 6MT '15 Challenger SRT-8 while my 5.0 was getting an oil change. $45k for a used model with 15,600 miles on it though? No thanks!

Dodge says all the parts required to build my Charger have been collected and it is line for production. No ETAs on build or delivery though.

First off, my hand is a respectable 8 inches measured from palm base to middle fingertip.
@ asians trying to call me out.
Second, you are insane if you think 3 series and A4 buyers have to cross-shop Dodge Chargers. They are simply not in the same market, for better or for worse. I mean how many Scat Pack buyers are test driving C300s?
Third, you're all trolls. I came in here with nothing but positive comments for OP and he turns around and backstabs me.
