Would 18", staggered, bronze colored TE37s look silly on an Anthracite TL? Serious question.

Yesterday had to troubleshoot the sisters car she was complaining about a burning rubber smell and black debris along passenger side engine, looked like a belt about to fail. Starting taking things apart and realized the tensioner pulley was seized so had to take that crap off.. Honda decided not to give a lot of clearance so had to take off the front passenger wheel and eventually the side engine mount too in order to replace PS belt since I was there anyway.. Also helped a friend with an oil change.. Replaced all the wipers for my parents cars because of all that Cali rain busy day..

Then today spent the whole day at Disneyland for gf's brother's gf's birthday. Babysat some baby cousins part of the time. Definitely don't want to be bringing babies there in the future... Such a hassle. The gf and I have concluded that we don't want to being our kids until they're at least 8 or 9; they won't appreciate it.

Now on the way to airport for the red eye.. long day...

Hope y'all had a good weekend!!!

Hola. Yeah I sure was hahaha.. Exhausting weekend but hey, sure beats lounging around doing nothing all weekend..

Didn't end up doing as much garage organization as I had hoped because the wall panels hadn't all come in as I first thought. They will be coming in this week though but I won't be home till Saturday night. Working till Wednesday night and flying to Arizona for a 2.5 day personal/professional development/team building event for work I'll get some garage work done Sunday morning then

Disneyland was a nice little break but was exhausting in a different way. Tired me out so I got some okay sleep on the plane.

Damn. I kinda underhanded that one in there didn't I.

Funny you mention that though. Every few years I go into hardcore health mode. And that just started Saturday. No booze, quit smoking, no herb, gym gym gym. It will literally be a very rough three month push but by then I should be exactly where I want to be.

I've lost a little over 90 in a little less then four months before. (I know, hard to believe, but believe it.)

This time however I only have to drop 20 lbs. Honestly I can do that in a month but I'm going to actually build mass this time around.

Think i'd have to roll my fenders? I do have a bit of a monster truck ride height. I'm on A-spec struts paired with, H&R springs, if I remember correctly.

Guy is selling brand new TE37s for 2600. He's been trying to sell them for 2 years and started at 3600. Thinking of jumping on these and selling my summer enkeis

So again, would staggered wheels look silly on the TL, since its FWD and all? I'm not really up to date with my wheel trends lol

I don't follow trends...for the body of the car, stagger still looks sweet IMO...especially since it's a mild stagger...

Those wheels are so easy to clean, they're classy, and they are LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT.
You MAY have to roll...but tires you put on will dicktaste that really (along with camber). I would make them work, they aren't insane 11" wide +15...

Chad, all good, man...I can't say for sure since I didn't actually get at him...but I was pretty sure I'd beat him. He was a young punk so probably it was the basest of base models you can get in that body style. It was all loud but not a lot of GO IMO. Definitely didn't take offense though...TL is a bit of a cow, but she can move.

especially since you're not slammed, Adam
even at pretty low for me...I'm not rubbing at all with 235 +29 9" on the front with no roll.

210 and 6'5"...damn, I'd hit that.

I'm not worried about the front.. it's only 8.5" up front, with +22. I think I should be ok there. It's the 1" wider wheels in the back that concern me, but looking around AZ, I think I should be ok.

last question- tires. I figure I could just transplant my RE-11s off my summer enkeis, on to these wheels. Here's the question though- will it look stupid? I mean, my tires aren't staggered in size. The front's will look beefy and the rears will likely be stretched a bit. I hope it doesn't look goofy. The stretch would likely help with the fitment though.

it's 1"...it'll look fine.
on my silver s2000...i had 17x9 all around with 215/45 front and 245/40 rear and it looked fine.

Rears are static...you put them on, hop on rear door threashold to ensure you aren't hitting anything...rears also roll flat without too much effort, get em rolled...it's worth it.

Totally my opinion but those wheels are way too sporty for the 3G TL's lines. Classic wheels though.

I can barely squeeze a finger between my front tire and the fender with the spacers on. Looks fantastic but man I don't know how I'm not rubbing.

And yea at 6'5"~6'6" and linebacker shoulders 210 is pretty small. IMO.

I run larger in the rear, IDGAF if my TL is hated by the whole world, I'm happy with it.

Well, I wore sandals and rolled my jeans up to my knees (tight-roll style, yo!) when I walked into the office this morning. Had an inch or so of flowing water in the parking lot, up to 3 inches in the crosswalks.

But the office is empty. The northern school district didn't open today and the southern one just called a staggered shutdown. I heard on the radio that 12 roads around the city were just shut down and impassibly flooded and word is that the pubic transit system (lol) shut down as well. So very few people in the office today. Not me - YOLO!!11!!1!1!!!one!!!!11!

I'll have wet pants all day (bladder probs) and my yard will be soggy this evening. Crabman and MC MiYoung (other TSX dude) are probably filling sandbags though...
