Yeah, we intend to visit the site often. My construction knowledge isn't great but one of my best friends works in the home-building industry and I'll have him along during some visits to the lot.

Curious about that- where does the canal water come from? I assume it's a fresh water canal... I assume there's just a pump that turns on and syphons water from the canal? Where's the pump?

Ugh I need some coffee. I'm barely staying awake over here. Plus my mind has already checked out for vacation.

82* and sunny in San Juan!

39*, overcast, and windy here right now.

It wasn't suppose to rain but you know, since I stayed up till 1AM to wax the car, of course it had to sprinkle on me for 3 minutes this morning.

Same old, same old. Terribly slow day at work and no one is rambling, making today exceptionally painful. At least I'm going golfing for a bit, after work. A few courses opened on Friday.

I like his chances, I expect Bubba to step up this week, and Rory, Jordan too. Might be the best Masters in a long time.

I don't know man. I don't give a shit, to be honest. I'm terrible at golf and just go for shits and giggles. I think I have Adams irons. Beyond that, I dunno. Good clubs won't make a shitty player any better

Jordan hasn't been playing well. Kuchar, Stenson, Day, Bubba (always at Augusta), Scott are who I expect to be relevant this week.

Correct. However good clubs can make a good player better.

Don't be so defensive..

4 years of varsity here plus 3 years working at a country club.

Yes, I agree that good clubs can make a good player better, but that's the very least of my concerns

Who's getting defensive? I just said I don't care

"Good" can mean many things. It's all about what's setup right for you. THAT is one of the HUGE differences between average golfers and someone with a decent handicap.

I'd take a set of measured, fitted, proper so-so clubs over a $5,000 name brand off the shelf bag any day.

That's my idea of golf

I'm pretty sure I shoot an average of 65-70 on nine holes, at a par 3 course

I actually love playing par 3 courses. That's how I started. I often would go out there with a 4 iron, a 7 iron, a wedge, and a putter and that's it. Fun stuff.

I just thought about my typical score at the par 3, and I'm not as bad as I claimed. Still bad. But not as bad, lol.

So for nine holes, to make par, I should have a score of 27, correct?

I never get birdies.
I'm lucky if I make par.
Normally 1-3 shots over.

I probably get an average score of 45. Still brutal

I suck more than the token girl in a gang-bang movie at golf.

FWIW, I drive farther with the putter than the stupid driver club. Yes, I know, it's all technique. And frankly, I'm pretty sure mine sucks gonads.
