Great looking car. Love the color combo too. I drove one as a rental for a few days, needless to say, I didn't want to give it back

Thanks guys. Almost forgot about this thread. Car has 17xxx miles now and I'm still enjoying it. Ive had the auto sensing wiper system fixed and the steering wheel replaced all under warranty. Oh also a front bumper sensor that got damage when a bunch of rocks went flying into my car on the fwy

As for mods, I've installed the illuminated door sills. I bought spacers and returned them after experiencing vibrations. I have a new set of tires in the garage which I'm hoping to install soon to replace the crappy run flats. Once installed I'll get an alignment and keep on trucking. All in all a great experience thus far and no regrets.

Wow that vinyl looks great, makes me want to get that done on mine. For what reason did you have the steering wheel replaced? Maybe I missed it earlier in your thread...

^ Had a very very very tiny section of the leather that was glued down lifting. I mentioned it and they just replaced it. How's yours treating you?

Looking good, love the moonlight white! Curious: what brand and size were the spacers, H&R 20mm front and rear?

Thanks. I went with 25 mm spacers from seller dmvmotorsports on ebay. I ran the same spacers on my s2000 for a while with no issues. The sport oem wheels dont have recess holes in the back so the 25mm will provide the best fit without cutting the oem studs

Its a fun car, but I am currently riding out lemon law with it. One of the minor issues I'm having is the steering wheel creaks and makes noise whenever I make turns. I was wondering if that was the issue you were having to warrant a steering wheel replacement.

I've read on infinitiq50.org where some members had that issue fixed at the dealer. I hope it all works out for you.

Thanks bud, I'm staying positive. Regardless of how many problems it has, still a beautiful ride....

Zero regrets not getting another Acura.

Small update. Just rolled over 20k and my mpg since I've had the car has been 31.5. I have a slight rattle from one of the door speakers so I'll be taking it to the dealer when I get the chance. Otherwise the car has been pretty good to me. Changed the original air filters are 18k and I am going to change the differential fluid when I do the next oil change at 21k. I've been getting the itch lately as I really like the Lexus RC but I really need at least one 4 door vehicle.

Don't get the RC it's slow , I also have a Q50 Hybrid sport and have smashed the RC. RC-F different story but way overpriced. They do look good though. GS F is pushing 90K. SMH.

They must have realized their prices were ridiculous and are finally coming down.

Their price is not ridiculous. Just the product itself is not competitive vs. M5 and E63

Uh Which means they are overpriced. The GSF is sitting on lots not going anywhere. So again the price is ridiculous as stated not only by me but the majority of people on Club Lexus. Why would anybody pay close to 90K for this car with all the other cars in this range that out perform it?

are they paying close to $90k?

i thought someone just said $73k. Now that is a good deal, considering a 535 can be built to $70k.

One person's Dad was able to somehow get 15K off MSRP because he's friend with the salesman, I just saw that thread he paid $78K out the door. Most people are paying between $85k and 89K OTD. That's way too much IMO

being friend with a salesman means shit when it comes to car prices. just FYI.

Now being friend with the GSM (General Sales Manager) is another story.

I agree, the GSF is overpriced. In the next 2 years I'll probably add a P car to my collection. I am hoping to have a more garage space by then.

@ windoo I have read too many horror stories of that lip flying off on the freeway.

flying off?? hahhaha are they only using the double sided tape?

you are not going to have that problem if you drill 2 holes on the bottom and 2 holes on the side.

Trust me, I've been going back and forth with the idea. The only mod that I have in mind is to get a set of wheels.

That front lip is a horror story on the Q50 forums. Almost every reaction from Stillen is that it was installer error so no one is happy with that.

Wish I had that has mileage. A lot of my commute is stuck at traffic lights now so that brings me down into the mid-teens for economy. I'm still glad I wrapped the center portion of my rear bumper around the tailpipes - gives it some more emphasis. For heels you could always find some 370Z wheels someone's selling that they used for the Performance Wheel & Tire package if you want staggered and like the lighter finish.

^ lol I know right. My only concern at this point is longevity but the battery has a 8 yr 100k mile warranty so I should be good there. Did they ever fix the issues with your car?

In so cal GSF are offered at $5-7k off before any negotiations

Given almost 500 GSF sitting without being sold, you WILL see the the 10-15k off to move them soon enough

15-17k off rcf is what finally moved them, yet plenty of 15 left over

I would love an orange GSF, as it's a great 550 competitor at 72-73k for me

Not sure what state you're in but in California and New York the warranty is extened to 10 Years 150K if the batteries go out. Also a couple of salesmen on the forum confirmed to replaced the batteries is only $1200 if they go out , outside of warranty.
