Off to replace and correct 2 moen 1222 shower cartridges!
Then, look into a bigger water heater...30 gallons can't keep up with B's "hollywood" showers according to the wh sizing website.

Its all about the 30-40 mins showers. Especially if its the landlord thats gotta pay for that ish lol
Tired AF. Washed and detailed the TL. Did the stud install (had to snap a stud to get the lug off). Swapped wheels. Installed HIC. Did a full treatment of collinite on the car and wheels (barrels too) @ 1AM and then couldn't get to sleep. D:
Also had to bend/destroy my spacers to get them off. So I logged on, saw those 15mm adaptecs were dropped to $110 shipped, and bought them.
Drove by the lot today...looks like they broke ground and are starting the basement. Concrete will be poured probably in the next few days.
Dude, if you are able to and if you have a bit of construction knowledge... keep a very close eye on everything. I caught a lot of stuff with the two houses we built and it was a lot easier getting them rectified as they happened, then once the house was done.
My brother had one hell of a bad time building also. They forgot a window in the basement foundation and had to saw cut it in afterwards They also screwed up the framing and put the kitchen side windows where the den window was supposed to be, and vice versa. On a cookie cutter house. That they likely already built 50 of.
Some ceiling storage. I plan on moving the bikes to a bit of a different location on the ceiling when I tackle the lighting improvements, in the next two weeks.
How she looks with the cars parked (wife parks outside )
And for Flip, these are the shelves I built. Was supposed to take 2 hours... and then I got carried away and spent 12 hours on them They're built of particle board, 2x4s and 1x4s.

How much is water out east? How much is it down south?
It's pretty cheap here.
It's all the standard flat fees that make up the majority of the bill. We have waste collection and recycling show up on the same bill, but, the difference between me taking a 15 min shower or a 30 min shower everyday, is no more than 5 bucks a month
Same goes for electricity. Wifey wanted to start leaving the outside lights on the house all night, after the tenants moved in. Figured it was an increased safety thing. At first I was like "Nooooooooo!!!! think of the money we're burning!!"
And then I did the math.
3 lights. 60 watts each. So 180 watts/hour. So for a 10 hour period (lights go on early, sometimes stay on longer than necessary) = 1800 watts. Or 1.8kw. We pay like $0.05/kwh. Turns out to, what, $2.75/month? Meh...
