6speed swap using 5speed ecu

Trying to get an answer to a problem. Recently came across someone wanting to do a six speed swap but not swap in the ECU. Can this be done?

Nope.. Transmission shifting is a critical task for the Auto ECU. No auto trans = Limp Mode.

Yes the Richie Harness is to re use the stock Auto ECU harness with the new Manual ECU. It makes the electronic side plug and play.

Yea if you can get a richie module, it will work. Probably one of the easier ways to swap.

Let me know if you do get your hands on a module... last time I asked him (earlier last year) he said he doesn't make them anymore.
