Honestly, now that I see where the ridges are, I'm considering just putting one on, smack dab in the middle.
Went to bennet and got some fuel line clamps that are solid...I didn't want the pressure digging into the hose any more than it already has. I guess I should do two...positioned correctly.
trying a different approach with bobbycoy...don't think he's even realized I'm the same guy that made fun of him, was entertained by him...and now patronizing him and guiding his responses.
honestly man...with everything coming down the pipeline for me...a clamp that stops the leak for the next 3 years would be fine. Shiet, the first time it leaked...tightening the oem clamp a little bought me a ton of time.
Even with that. One night you'll bolt upright in bed and won't be able to get back to sleep until you fix it the right way. I know this, and deep down you know this.
But go ahead and keep lying to yourself and saying it'll be good enough.
naw man...I'm well past having to have perfection...if it works, and it's safe...I'm okay with it. Feeling like the car is a POS leaving stains on my garage floor (well, just puddles, not stains...)...is what's motivating me to address it.

That's where my original clamp was, kinda put one next to it farther from the end of the flex hose (therefore closer to the end of the metal).

#4 is what Joe had to replace, right?
Yup, high pressure hose. We're only dealing with the low pressure side of the PS system.
Good luck replacing #14, I didn't replace it because even on the lift it looked like a PITA, even more so considering I couldn't remove it from the area I could work on! It's all hiding behind the subframe, ugh.
so, drop subrame is only real way then...in which case you need alignment after...in which case I'll just have it done and/or make some suspension adjustments while I'm at it.

I don't know if it's the only real way, but that's the only way I could see. Can't snake my hands over there, not even close. Heck I could hardly see where the line went. Your guess is as good as mine though.
I don't believe the service manual has anything about replacement of the return line too. It's like hey, have fun with it.
they probably figure you'll replace it if you ever replace the rack.
it's such a simple problem...but so annoying. Wish me luck with this solid clamp.
in the meantime, used all my energy giving babymommas ride a coat of collinite and the chemical guys shiet on all the black trim. Damn thing looks great DSC_0292 by rock star, on Flickr

You're probably right on that one.
I really need to pick up some aesthetics skills. I keep saying that, but I really do. Now winter is coming again though. I need me a garage.
okay, found the leak, and it wasn't he hose...although that was slightly weeping...
high pressure switch...I'd love for it to be the o-ring...but I think it's the sensor itself because the drops are coming from the lip of the sensor and not further down.
on the plus side, the hose is lookin solid and leak free...just bad luck that this fuckin thing leaks down ONTO that hose end, so it's hard to tell it wasn't coming from it. Joe did call that, though...so thank you.
hose clamps I got were too tight, gonna return em. also, from above the engine, looking down, you can see the hose clamp and other end of that hose, yves...without the sway bar in the way, looks doable...I might order it and replace it and the clamps one time, for peace of mind as cul0 predicted.
also...tired of the bs with cheap aftermarket rotors...brembos goin back on...function

To be honest, I've had really good luck with brakeperformance.com
I was a bit hesitant at first, but when researching, I didn't come across a bad review for them and it seemed a lot of 350z/G35 owners were quite happy with them. They've been on my car now for well over a year now and I've had zero issues thus far.
I was gonna go with blanks, but opted for the slotted rotors. The nice thing is that there is only like 5 slots on each of the rotors, so a lot of the time the full brake pad is contacting the full rotor surface.
I also got the "full black" rotors. Once the pads are bedded, they remove the black coating in only the places the pads contact the rotors. Otherwise, still black in the slots, sides, and close to the hub. After one winter and over a year of use, they still look great, which really surprised me. The quality has really impressed me. I'll likely get their blanks for wifey's car when time comes.
I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about the rotors and I've definitely put them through some hard braking situations. Fuckers must get pretty hot at times, because I can see the TPMS tire pressures climb by several psi. I figure it's heat generated from the brakes that causes the tire pressure to climb.

I don't think it was just Spaceman who let the cat outta the bag. I've seen it a few times around the deep, stanky bowels of AZ. Figured it was fair game now...
It was spaceman...even joe mofo was like wtf...
anyway.
don't key my wifey shit...that restaurant is closed for renovation!
naww man...stock brembo for the mtfw...i like the slotted look, but fuck that, i never realized how much the rusty looking slots bothered me and the shudder was annoying as hell. bedded them hos like they owed me money...smoking...had to wait to wash the car for fear of warping... we'll see, hoping they'll be smooth and awesome, like I remember.
Are you guys fucking kidding me.. I replaced the high pressure hose and you guys are complaining about the return hose.
If I can replace the high pressure hose in less space then surely you guys can replace the return hose. You don't even have to fucking unbolt the hose from the rack.
I'm telling you J.. it might be the o-ring, but more than likely.. it's the fitting or high pressue hose itself. I highly doubt the sensor has cracked open.
J.. that mustard on the beet ho got arrested for inciting a riot.. Judge Mindy baker acted her ass and she's getting a mental eval + meds. Her father was in court, pleading for his daughter. She a cray bitch who just wants to have fun and get gang banged. Hopefully she gets the help she needs.
"hopefully they'll be here soon"...lmao...as if they can find him with the awesome directions he'll give...floating down some sort of creek!
Shiet...was that Tyler?
Thanks Joe...with where the drip drip drip is coming from, it's at the top of the sensor, the metal band around it, so I'm guessing it's either pressing out of there because it's coming past the o-ring...or maybe just the o-ring...I'll probably just replace o-ring/sensor and then if I have to do the hose, I'll address that later, although the hose was done during the recall (that was the piece replaced for the recall, no?) about 6 years ago.
Anyway...as with everything with this TL...once again, another issue that's just annoying, but doesn't leave me stranded. She's my bottom bitch...

My slots are still black after 1year and I get no shudders, lol...
