Actually no, I wouldn't really do that. I'd just call 5-0 and show them the damage and the license plate picture and let them have at em. And would report to my insurance company the same info.

Valve adjustment is easy work but takes a while to do your first one. I hit each valve 3 times because I'm paranoid. Make sure the engine is completely cold when you're doing it too. I forgot to plan this part so ended up stranded at my girl's place on a Saturday waiting for the car to cool down overnight. Not the worst place...
