205k miles here. 1 transmission at 88k, another at 90k. Solid since then. She's ready for her second timing belt change.

opps forgot to add 134K here, 1 transmission at 71K

New transmission has issues

1. Will not engage to drive when extremely cold unless you pop it into reverse first
2. Intermittent shift quality issues

Which is why i sold my auto at 160k and bought a 6 speed with 175k on the clock lol

A year later the guy who bought my car said the tranny blew on him. Would make it the 2nd one on that particular car...

In the meantime i supercharged my 6 speed muahahaha

Turned over 140k last night. Know I'm nowhere near the highest. I'm likely towards the low side now on this 11 year old car.

2001 CL S 134k original transmission. Drives smooth no issues. About to do timing belt though. When you guys say 3-6 transmissions are you guys talking about getting it replaced on your own or is Acura doing it for free for recalls or something?

Buy it! Transfer your parts. That's what I did. I had two silver CL-S6's in the driveway for a bit. There's an anthracite one too with some nice mods. Been up for a while. I'm sure they'd take 6.

next car is going to be the fully loaded focus ST with the insane recaro seats... I cannot wait to get it.... lol but that'll be in like 3-5 yrs... once the cl is in gimp mode...

stripping it down and selling all my parts is going to eat a piece of my soul away tho i can already tell. i think i am going to tear the car down and sell it piece by piece... that way no one can have my car after me... it shall die in my possession, like my last car.

I just watched a WRX vs ST video. You should check it out. They say those seats are very uncomfortable.

My current '03 NBP 6-speed has 89,000 miles that I bought at a Copart auction last month. I doubt the member was on here based on the fact that this car was bone stock and immaculately clean.

The '03 Anthracite 6-speed I bought on Copart today has 306,000 miles.

Wow, that's a lot of seat time. That's >117 miles per day, every day, for 14 years. Or 165 miles/day, 5 days a week, for 14 years. Either way, it's 43k per year. And considering the number and level of mods you've done, I would think it' safe to assume that there were more than a few days where you didn't put on any miles. Amazing.
