ehh guys quick question. didn't want to make a new thread.

I swapped out my tails last night but forgot to put the rubber seal thing where the turn signal and led board chords attach. Am I okay without this seal, or should i take everything apart again to be safe?

 

Ehh I would put them back. Pulling the trunk liner back is REALLY easy. It's like, 2 bitch clips, those screws and then the plastic piece you just pull up. Pull the liner back and you have direct access to the back of the tails.

Oh true, I thought I was going to have to take off the tails again and put the seal between the outside metal and the tail light. But if it can fit just from behind the trunk lining then I'm definitely doing it that way haha

Oh shiet, you might be right with that. :/

Would make sense, it seals the inside so water doesn't get in the trunk.

You can use J's method and just pull one side down at a time, instead of having to pull the entire bumper.

Either way, I would definitely seal it back.

Can't remember when I did my last mod, but finally got the last of the bolt-ons today.

 

LMFAO. You have some cajones (sp?) . I don't even have the balls to snap a pic with my phone of a hideous car on the road 3 car lengths ahead of me, and I have way less if a chance of getting caught by one of them lol. Did you have any unique experiences on your trip? It's nice to get different perspectives of the city. Growing up there i have always had a love/hate relationship, but when people are visiting, would you consider it a trip to remember? Boring? Safe? Dangerous?

Well, that's the plan...for now.

I've been so on the wall about trading it in for a faster car, that I figured the PCDs would inject my interest a bit more back into the car whilst I start paying it off faster. Afterwards, it'll stay as my DD & I'll have something else on the side.

 

any unique experiences?

not too many "unique" things happened while I was there. well, unless you count that it snowed. and it barely snowed. didnt even stick.
I've lived in Flagstaff, Arizona in the mountains, so im not new to snow. since living in Texas, it has never really snowed tho.

also the clubbing thing was cool too; since our bars and clubs in Texas close at 2am.


What did I think about the city?
Great to visit! not a place I would like to live. Due to cost of living and living quarters. the buildings are so old! lol felt like I was in a 1950's movie.

Also, the bronx/yonkers is dirty. Just so many people walk through and probable throw trash every where.
the city manhattan is cleaner and I liked walking the city

Boring? definitely not. I had lots of fun and in fact didnt have enough time to do the touristy things.

the city was safe. I mentioned I stayed with my girlie friend in yonkas in the PJ's. it was sketchy, for sure. however;she was there to protect me.


in closing; I love how clean and cheap Texas is.
Wouldnt want to move to NY; only to visit.

oh, I did head into deep brooklyn. russian mafia everywhere.
I wouldnt want them to help me with directions.
